Head coach Tom Arterburn is confident in his team’s abilities, saying, “We have a very talented group of young men who are eager to get back out there and prove themselves. I think we’re going to surprise a lot of people this season.”

The team has been working hard in the off-season to prepare for their return, and they are ready to give it their all. Arterburn says, “Our guys have been working extremely hard. We’ve got a lot of new faces, but they have really bought into our system and I think they’re going to be big contributors this season.”

The Babson college baseball team is back in action and preparing for their upcoming season! The team has been working hard in the off-season to make sure they are ready to compete. Here is a look at what the team has been doing to get ready for the season:

The team has been practicing twice a week since January. They have also been working on Strength and Conditioning with their coach. The players say that they re Feeling stronger and more prepared than ever before.

The team has also been doing some fundraising. They have held several car washes and bake sales, and they are currently selling T-shirts to raise money for new equipment.

The players are excited for the upcoming season and are confident that they will be able to compete with the best teams in the league.

Babson Baseball is Back: The Team’s Schedule and Key Games

Babson’s Baseball Team is back in action and ready to take the season by storm! Here is the team’s schedule for the upcoming season as well as some key games to keep an eye on.

The first game of the season is on Saturday, March 3rd against Northeastern University. This will be a key game to watch as it will set the tone for the rest of the season. The next two games are against Brandeis University and MIT, respectively. Both of these teams will be tough competition, so it will be interesting to see how our boys hold up.

There are a few other games throughout the season that should not be missed. On Tuesday, April 10th, we take on Wheaton College in a heated matchup. This game is always one to watch as these two teams are longtime rivals. Another key game is against Bentley University on Thursday, April 26th. Bentley is one of our biggest competitors in conference play so this game could very well determine our postseason fate.

Babson Baseball is back in action and looking to build on last year’s success! The team’s roster is full of talented and hardworking players, eager to get back out on the diamond. Meet some of the key members of the team:

P pitcher Jake Storro ’21 is a returning starter and one of the team’s most experienced pitchers. He will be counted on to provide leadership and stability on the mound.

Infielder Matt Higgins ’22 is a reliable defender with a strong bat. He will be counted on to provide some power at the plate and drive in runs.

Outfielder Timmy Driscoll ’23 is a speedy player with a keen eye for the ball. He will be a key player in the outfield, using his speed to track down fly balls and balls hit into the gaps.

Babson baseball is back in action and the team’s coaches and staff are excited for the upcoming season Head Coach Matt Blake is entering his fourth season at the helm of the program and is looking to lead the team to another conference championship Along with Blake, the team’s assistant coaches are Mike D’Alessandro, Steve DeWolfe, and Davey Lupton. The staff is rounded out by head Athletic Trainer Jordan Kyriakides and assistant athletic trainer Joe Pinto.

It’s that time of year again! Spring means warmer weather, longer days, and… baseball season! The Babson Beavers are back in action and looking to build off of their successful 2017 campaign. The team went 18-12 last year and made it to the conference tournament semifinals.

One of the big reasons for the team’s success last year was the support they received from the student body and the community. The Beavers had great attendance at their home games and plenty of fans cheering them on from the stands. That support is even more important this year as the team looks to take things to the next level.

Babson Baseball is Back: The Future of the Program

The future of Babson Baseball is bright as the team prepares for their first season in over 60 years. With a strong core of returning players and a talented group of newcomers, the Beavers are looking to make noise in the New England Intercollegiate baseball league (NEIBL) and beyond.

Head coach Joe Walsh has instilled a culture of hard work and determination in his squad, and they are eager to prove themselves on the diamond. The team has been focused on getting better every day in practice and is excited to show off their skills in game situations.

The Beavers will open their season on April 6th with a Home game against conference rival Nichols College. They will look to build on last year’s successful campaign, when they finished with a record of 19-10 overall and made it to the NEIBL Championship game
