The MLB All-Star game is just around the corner, and the rosters for each team have been announced. Who made the cut and who didn’t?
American League All-Stars
The American League All-Star team was selected by the fans, and it includes some of the best players in baseball The team will be managed by Houston Astros manager A. J. Hinch.

National League All-Stars
The best players in the National League have been selected to represent their respective teams at the 2018 All-Star Game!
The starters were announced on Sunday, and the reserves and pitchers were announced on Monday.

The Final Vote
Major League Baseball released the rosters for the 2018 All-Star Game on Sunday night and while most of the starters were predictable, there was one highly contested race still to be decided.
The final vote will determine who starts in the outfield for the American League and there are five very deserving candidates. Boston Red Sox superstar Mookie Betts is currently in the lead, but he’s closely followed by Houston Astros slugger George Springer, New York Yankees rookie sensation Aaron Judge Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout and Cleveland Indians star outfielder Michael Brantley.
It’s going to be a close race, and it’s anyone’s guess who will come out on top. The All-Star Game will be played on Tuesday, July 17th at 8pm ET on FOX.
The All-Star Game
The rosters for the 2018 MLB All-Star Game were announced on Sunday, and there are some familiar names on the list.
For the American League Jose Altuve Aaron Judge, and Jose Ramirez were named the starting infielders. George Springer and Mike Trout will start in the outfield, with Salvador Perez behind the plate.
The starting pitchers for the AL will be Chris Sale and Luis Severino, with J.A. Happ and Blake Snell named as the reserves.
Over in the National League Javier Baez Freddie Freeman and Nolan Arenado were chosen as the starters at infield. Bryce Harper and Nick Markakis will patrol the outfield, with Buster Posey catching.
The NL starters on the mound will be Max Scherzer and Jacob Degrom with Noah Syndergaard and Aaron Nola coming out of the bullpen.
The home run Derby
The home run Derby is an annual exhibition baseball event held the day before the Major League Baseball All-Star game which pits several of the league’s top home run hitters against each other in a contest to hit as many home runs as possible.
The Celebrity Softball Game
The annual MLB All-Star Game is just around the corner, and this year’s rosters have finally been announced!As always, the game will feature a mix of current MLB stars and retired legends, but this year’s rosters also include a few special guests from the world of entertainment.
On the American League side, Hollywood A-listers Charlie Sheen and Mark Wahlberg will be joining forces with MLB greats like Albert Pujols and Miguel Cabrera The National League roster is no less star-studded, with actors like Matthew McConaughey and Danny DeVito teaming up with baseball legends like Clayton Kershaw and Bryce Harper
This year’s game promises to be a can’t-miss event for any baseball fan – or celebrity enthusiast!
The Futures Game
The rosters for the 2018 All-Star Futures Game are here! The game, which will be played at Nationals Park on Sunday, July 15th, will once again feature the best minor league prospects from Round Baseball This year’s game will feature 10 prospects from the Cubs organization, including Eloy Jimenez, Adbert Alzolay, and Aramis Ademan.
The game will be broadcast live on MLB Network at 4:00 PM ET.
The Legends & Celebrity Softball Game
The MLB All-Star Legends & Celebrity ball game is a fundraising event that has been held annually since it was founded in 2001. The game features retired MLB legends and current and former celebrities from around the entertainment industry.
This year’s game will be held on July 8th at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., and will feature such luminaries as Hank Aaron Dave Winfield Reggie Jackson Eddie Murray Ozzie Smith Alex Rodriguez Jennifer Lopez, Chris Berman, Eric Davis Jessica Simpson, Cuba Gooding Jr., Bret Michaels, Nick Lachey, Alyssa Milano, Mariah Carey, Gabby Douglas and many more.
All proceeds from the event will go to support various charitable causes including youth baseball and softball programs.
The All-Star Week Schedule
The MLB all-star break is a time for the best players in the game to get a well-deserved break. But it’s also a time for the fans to get excited about some of the best match-ups in baseball. This year, the game will be played on July 17th at Nationals Park in Washington D.C. Here is the schedule for all of the events during All-Star week:
July 13: T-Mobile Home Run Derby (8 p.m. ET on ESPN)
July 16: Celebrity Softball Game (7 p.m. ET on ESPN)
July 17: 89th MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard (8 p.m. ET on FOX)
How to Watch the All-Star Game
The Major League Baseball All-Star Game is just around the corner, and this year it’s being held at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, July 17.
If you’re looking to watch the game it will be televised nationally on FOX beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET. The pre-game show will start at 7 p.m. Joe Buck and Ken Rosenthal will call the game for FOX, while Pedro Gomez and Jon Paul Morosi will report from the field.
