Mike Trout

Mike Trout is one of the most exciting young players in baseball. He made his debut with the Los Angeles Angels in 2011, and quickly established himself as one of the best players in the league. In 2012, he won the AL Rookie of the Year Award and followed that up with an even better season in 2013.

Trout is a five-tool player, meaning he excels at all aspects of the game. He has great speed, which makes him a menace on the base paths; he hits for a high average and has plenty of power; he’s an excellent fielder; and he has a strong arm. In short, there’s not much Trout can’t do on a baseball field

At just 22 years old, Trout still has many great years ahead of him. He’s already one of the best players in baseball and it’s not out of the question that he could someday be considered one of the greatest players of all time.

Miguel Cabrera

Miguel Cabrera born in April of 1983, is a professional baseball player who has spent his entire career in the Major Leagues with the Detroit Tigers A preeminent power hitter, Cabrera is a nine-time All-Star and has won four Silver Slugger Awards. He became the first player to win a Triple Crown since 1967, accomplishing the feat in 2012. In 2013, Cabrera was voted the American League Most Valuable Player (MVP), winning the award for the second consecutive year.

Clayton Kershaw

Pitcher Clayton Kershaw was born in Dallas, Texas, on March 19, 1988. Kershaw was drafted out of High School by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the first round of the 2006 MLB Draft He made his Major League debut in 2008, and his first full season in the majors was in 2009. Kershaw won the National League Cy Young Award in 2011 and 2013, becoming the youngest pitcher to win the award twice. He also won the National League pitching Triple Crown in 2011.

Kershaw has been selected to four National League All-Star teams, and he has led the National League in earned run average four times. In 2014, he signed a contract extension with the Dodgers that made him the highest-paid pitcher in baseball history

Chris Davis

Chris Davis first baseman for the Baltimore Orioles had a breakout year in 2013. Not only did he lead the majors in home runs (53) and RBIs (138), but he also hit for a .286 batting average and slugged .634. These numbers helped Davis earn his first All-Star game appearance, as well as a Silver Slugger Award

Adam Jones

Adam Jones is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball He played in his first All-Star Game in 2013. In the same year, he won a Gold Glove Award and a Silver Slugger Award

Yasiel Puig

Puig burst into the majors last June and took the Baseball World by storm, hitting .319/.391/.534 with 19 home runs in 104 games for the Los Angeles Dodgers The Cuban defector also played a key role in the team’s return to the postseason, providing a much-needed spark for a club that had struggled through much of the first half of the season.

Max Scherzer

Max Scherzer starting pitcher for the Detroit Tigers was one of the baseball superstars of 2013. He had a 21-3 win-loss record, 2.90 ERA, and 0.97 WHIP. He was also selected to his first All-Star Game

Paul Goldschmidt

Paul Goldschmidt had a phenomenal year in 2013, setting career highs in batting average home runs and RBIs. He was one of the most feared hitters in baseball, and he helped lead the Arizona Diamondbacks to the playoffs. Goldschmidt is a two-time All-Star and a Golden Glove winner, and he is one of the best players in Baseball Today

Matt Harvey

Matt Harvey nicknamed “The Dark Knight”, is a right-handed pitcher for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball Harvey was known as one of the top prospects in baseball prior to his MLB debut. He was selected for the 2013 All-Star Game and started the game for the National League In 2013, he tied a Mets franchise record by starting his first 18 MLB Games with no losses.

Pedro Alvarez

Pedro Alvarez was one of the top baseball superstars of 2013. A third baseman for the Pittsburgh Pirates Alvarez hit 36 Home Runs and drove in 100 RBIs. He was also named the National League Rookie of the Year.
