Belgium Basketball Scores – Highest Rebounds
In basketball, a rebound, sometimes colloquially referred to as a board, is a statistic awarded to a player who retrieves the ball after a missed field goal or free throw
Re rebounds are divided into two main categories: “offensive rebounds”, in which the ball is recovered by the offensive side and does not change possession, and “defensive rebounds”, in which the defending team gains possession of the loose ball. The number of rebounds is also a measure of how well a team defends; the defensive rebound percentage (the ratio of defensive rebounds to total rebounds) is a better measure than pure rebound totals. A block that occurs as part of a player’s rebounding totals at one end of the court cancels out, or “offsets”, as much as one rebound at the other end of the court, because it causes a change in team possession.
The highest scoring Belgian basketball players in terms ofrebounds are:
– Ibaka (2.6 rpg)
– Gasol (1.9 rpg)
– Varejao (1.8 rpg)
– Splitter (1.7 rpg)
