2013 NBA Scoring Leaders: Top 10

The 2013 NBA season is over, and the scoring leaders have been announced. See who made the top 10 list and find out who was the top scorer in the league.

Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers was the NBA’s top scorer in 2013, averaging 20.8 points per game He narrowly edged out Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks who finished the season averaging 28.7 points per game Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder was third with a 27.4 average, followed by Lebron James of the Miami Heat (26.8) and Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers (26.3).

The other seven players in the top 10 were: LaMarcus Aldridge of the Portland Trail Blazers (24.6), Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat (21.2), Monta Ellis of the Milwaukee Bucks (21.0), Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers (20.7), Al Jefferson of the Charlotte Bobcats (20.6) and Brook Lopez of the Brooklyn Nets (20).

Carmelo Anthony

New York Knicks small forward Carmelo Anthony led the NBA in scoring with 28.7 points per game during the 2012-2013 season. Anthony, who is a nine-time NBA All-Star also averaged 8.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game

LeBron James

As of December 25, 2013, Lebron James is the NBA’s leading scorer, averaging 28.1 Points per game He is followed by Kevin Durant Kobe Bryant Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade

Kevin Durant, of the Oklahoma City Thunder is the leading scorer in the NBA for the 2013 season. He is averaging 28.1 points per game Durant is followed by Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks who is averaging 27.4 points per game. Lebron James of the Miami Heat is third, averaging 26.8 points per game. Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers is fourth, averaging 26.5 points per game. Fifth is LaMarcus Aldridge of the Portland Trail Blazers who is averaging 24.6 points per game.

He is closely followed by Kevin Durant with 25.6 points per game, and Lebron James with 25.2 points per game. Rounding out the top ten are Carmelo Anthony, Kyrie Irving Dirk Nowitzki, Damian Lillard Dwyane Wade Kobe Bryant and James Harden

Chris Paul

Chris Paul who plays for the Los Angeles Clippers is currently the NBA’s leading scorer with an average of 27.3 points per game.

Russell Westbrook

In the 2013 NBA season Russell Westbrook was one of the top Scoring Leaders averaging 23.2 points per game. He was also a key player for the Oklahoma City Thunder helping them reach the playoffs.
