Bellingham youth baseball is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for children aged 5-16 to participate in organized baseball. Our mission is to foster the love and teachings of the Game of Baseball while developing teamwork, good sportsmanship, and citizenship in our players.

The spring season runs from March through June, with games and practices taking place primarily on weekdays after school. Practices typically last one hour, and games are two hours long. We have divisions for 5-6 year olds (T-Ball), 7-8 year olds (coach pitch), 9-10 year olds (kid pitch), 11-12 year olds (minor league), and 13-16 year olds (major league).

Bellingham Youth Baseball The History

Bellingham Youth Baseball (BYB) has been a part of Whatcom County’s Youth Sports scene since 1957. Founded by a group of Cal Baseball enthusiasts, the league has seen thousands of young players take the field over the years.

The league got its start with just four teams, but quickly grew to include dozens of teams from all over Whatcom County. BYB became known for its competitive play and strong sense of sportsmanship. In addition to providing a fun and safe environment for kids to play baseball BYB also helped develop many young players who went on to have successful careers in High School college, and even professional baseball

Over the years, BYB has undergone several changes, but its commitment to providing a positive Youth Baseball experience remains strong. The league currently offers programs for players of all ages and abilities, from tee ball to seniors.

Whether you’re a long-time fan or just getting started, Bellingham Youth Baseball is a great way to enjoy America’s pastime!

Bellingham youth baseball is excited to announce that registration for the Spring 2021 season is now open! We are looking forward to another great season of baseball, and we are proud to offer a variety of teams for our players to join.

We have something for everyone, from beginner to experienced players. Our teams include:

-The rookie team, for players aged 6-8 who are new to the game or who have limited experience.
-The minor league team for players aged 9-10 who have some baseball experience
-The Major League team, for players aged 11-12 who have significant baseball experience

We also offer a competitive travel team for players aged 13 and up. This team plays in tournaments and games against other travel teams in the area.

All of our teams are coached by experienced and qualified coaches who are committed to helping our players improve their skills and enjoy the game of baseball.

Bellingham Youth Baseball (BYB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides organized baseball opportunities for kids ages 4-18 in Whatcom County, WA.

BYB runs two recreational seasons – Spring and Fall – as well as two competitive tournaments – the All-Star Tournament and the end-of-season Whatcom County Championship Tournament.

Spring is finally here and that means it’s time for Bellingham Youth Baseball! This year we have a few changes to our program that we’re excited to share with you. First off, our season will now run from March 1st through June 15th. We’ve also expanded our age divisions to include 5/6 year olds, 7/8 year olds, 9/10 year olds, and 11/12 year olds. Lastly, we will be adding a technique-focused instructional division for 13 and 14 year olds. As always, we will have a spring break camp the week of April 6th-10th. Registration for the spring season is now open online at www.bybbaseball.com or in person at Whatcom talked about Parks and Recreation (3155 Racine St., Bellingham). We hope to see you out on the diamond!

It’s that time of year again! Time for the bellowing of umpires, the crack of the bat, and the sizzle of hot dogs on the grill. That’s right, spring is here and so is baseball season! And this year, Bellingham youth baseball is excited to announce that we will be having a playoff tournament at the end of the season for our 6th-8th grade division.

The Bellingham youth baseball Spring Season is Here! You can find all the information on games, practices, and team standings on our website. This year, the Bellingham Youth Baseball League is offering a player development program for all players ages 7-12. This program will focus on skill development and game play. The program will run for 8 weeks starting in April. The cost of the program is $100 per player.

We are also excited to announce that we will be offering a championship tournament for our 13U, 14U, and 15U teams this year. The tournament will be held in June and will be a double-elimination format. The cost of the tournament is $250 per team.
