The History of Bemidji Youth Baseball – How It All Began
Bemidji Youth Baseball (BYB) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2012. The goal of BYB is to provide a positive, safe, and fun environment for youth in Bemidji to play baseball
BYB is run by a Board of Directors and all decisions are made by this Board. Volunteer coaches are always needed and greatly appreciated.
Fundraising is an important part of BYB. All money raised goes directly back into the program to help offset the cost of things like field rentals, uniforms, equipment, and tournament fees.
BYB offers two different baseball programs – Little League and Cal Ripken
Practices for both programs begin in early May with games beginning in late May/early June. The season wraps up in early August.
All games are played at the Bemidji Youth Baseball Complex which is located on the South Side of town near Bemidji High School
