The Big 12 Baseball Bracket is finally here! The ten-team conference will once again be playing a double-elimination tournament and the action will begin on Wednesday, May 23rd. The tournament will be held at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City and the Championship game will be played on Sunday, May 27th. All games will be televised on either ESPNU or FOX Sports Southwest. Here is a look at the bracket:

With the college baseball season in Full Swing it’s time to take a look at the Big 12 Baseball Bracket The Big 12 is one of the most competitive conferences in college baseball so expect some great games in the coming weeks. Here’s a quick overview of the bracket:

The top seed in the conference tournament will be Oklahoma State The Cowboys have been one of the best teams in the country all season and are primed for a deep run in the postseason. They’ll be joined by low top seeds Texas Tech and Baylor.

The bottom half of the bracket features some intriguing matchups, including a first-round game between Kansas State and TCU. The Horned Frogs are looking to make some noise in the conference tournament after a disappointing regular season

Other Teams to Watch out for include West Virginia Oklahoma, and Texas. All three of these teams have talented rosters and could make a run at the Conference Tournament title.

The first game of the tournament will be between Baylor and Oklahoma State on Wednesday, May 24th at 12:30pm CT.

A Closer Look at the Big 12 Baseball Bracket

The conference tournament for the Big 12 is set to begin on Wednesday, May 23 and will conclude on Sunday, May 27. All games will be played at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City OK. The tournament is double-elimination format.

Here is a closer look at the teams in the field:

1. Baylor (42-15, 19-5 Big 12)
The Bears are the regular season champions and come into the tournament as the top seed. They are currently ranked No. 5 in the RPI and have an outside shot at hosting a regional if they can make a run to the Championship game Baylor is led by Big 12 Player of the Year Davion Downey, who is batting .377 with 10 home runs and 44 RBIs. On the mound, they have a trio of starters that have been superb all season long in Nick Loftin (9-1, 2.62 ERA), Cody Bradford (9-3, 2.84 ERA) and Hayden Kettler (8-3, 3.00 ERA). The Bears also have one of the best closers in the country in closer Troy Montemayor, who has 16 saves and a 0.86 ERA this season.

2. Texas Tech (37-18, 16-8 Big 12)
The Red Raiders are coming off a disappointing series loss at home to West Virginia last weekend, but they are still in good shape as far as their postseason hopes are concerned as they come into the Conference tournament as the No. 2 seed . Tech is led by Big 12 Newcomer of the Year Kurt Wilson who is hitting .344 with 10 home runs and 47 RBIs this season. On the mound, they have one of the best pitching staffs in the country , led by starter Steven Gingery (9-1 , 1 .58 ERA) and closer Hayden Howard (5-2 , 1 3 saves , 2 .33 ERA). The Red Raiders will be looking to make a run to try and secure a hosting spot in one of college baseball’s 16 regional sites .

3 . TCU (35 – 18 , 14 – 10 Big 12 )
The Horned Frogs come into Oklahoma City as one of hotter teams in not only conference but also all college baseball over past two weeks . All Ten Conference teams will participate in the event, with the top two seeds receiving a first-round bye.

TCU has won it three times, while Baylor and Oklahoma State have each won twice. Nebraska (now in the Big Ten) and Missouri (now in the SEC) also have multiple tournament titles to their credit.

In the fourth round of the Big 12 Baseball Bracket the top-seeded Texas Longhorns will take on the Baylor Bears while the TCU Horned Frogs will face off against the Oklahoma Sooners The Longhorns are coming off a impressive run in the conference tournament, while the Sooners have been one of the hottest teams in the country over the past few weeks.

The winner of the Texas-Baylor game will advance to the Championship game where they will take on either TCU or Oklahoma. The loser of that game will play in the third-place game.
