The Big Three Basketball League is a professional 3-on-3 basketball league founded by Ice Cube, which began play on June 22, 2017. The league features former NBA players The league’s inaugural season featured 8 teams of 5 players each, playing a total of 10 games each.

The league was created as a response to the 2016 NBA retirement of Kobe Bryant Cube said that he wanted the league to be a “place where the stars can come out and play and have some fun.”

While many well-known former NBA players have joined the league, some notable absences include Michael Jordan Lebron James and Steph Curry

The Big 3: The Rosters

In case you haven’t been keeping up with the latest in summer basketball here’s a quick update on the Big 3: a 3-on-3 Professional Basketball league featuring some of the biggest names in the sport. The league was founded by rapper and entertainment mogul Ice Cube, and made its debut last year.

This year, the league has expanded from 8 to 12 teams, and the rosters have been announced. Here are some of the biggest names that will be hitting the hardwood this summer:

The highly-anticipated third season of Ice Cube’s Big 3 Basketball League is almost here, and fans are eagerly wondering which familiar faces will be returning to the court and which new players will be joining the league.
