The two winners then play each other in a final game with the loser playing in the consolation game against the remaining team. The winner of the semifinal game advances to the Championship game to play the winner of the consolation game, with the loser of the semifinal game playing in a third place game. All games are played at Liberty University’s Worthington Stadium in Lynchburg, Virginia.
The first three tournaments were held at Lexington County Baseball Stadium in Lexington, South Carolina from 2001 to 2003. Due to Hurricane Hugo causing damage to Lexington County baseball stadium in late September 1989, Coastal Carolina’s on-campus facility, Watson Stadium/Vrooman Field, served as an emergency replacement site for both the 1990 and 1991 Big South Conference Tournaments. In 1992, due to continuing renovations at Lexington County baseball stadium Coastal Carolina again hosted the conference tournament at Watson Stadium/Vrooman Field. In 1993, Charleston Southern became host of the tournament after Lexington County baseball stadium was rebuilt.
