“Basketball has always been big in Branson,” says BBA president and CEO Tony Riggs. “The tradition here goes back a long way. A lot of people don’t realize that some of the biggest names in basketball have played here, including Michael Jordan Magic Johnson Larry Bird and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Riggs should know. He’s not only been involved with the BBA since its inception in 1979, but he also played a role in bringing some of basketball’s biggest names to Branson for exhibition games.
