2019 season schedule
The 2019 season schedule has been announced for the upcoming baseball season The team will play a total of 56 games, including 28 home games and 28 away games. The home games will be played at their home field in Riverside, California. Schedule highlights include conference rivalries against UCLA and Pepperdine, as well as games against nationally ranked opponents such as Oregon State Stanford, and Cal State Fullerton
2019 season highlights
The 2019 season will mark the first for the Lancers in their new on-campus stadium, Wheelock Field. Located in Riverside, CA, the stadium will provide a state-of-the-art home for Cal Baptist Baseball and will be one of the finest collegiate facilities in Southern California
The Lancers’ schedule features 28 home games including a three-game series against Oregon State (Feb. 15-17), as well as home series against conference foes such as Long Beach State (Mar. 29-31) and UC Santa Barbara (Apr. 12-14).
Cal Baptist will also travel to Hawaii for a four-game series against Hawaii Pacific (Mar. 8-10) and will participate in the Tony Gwynn Legacy tournament in San Diego CA from Feb. 22-24.
2019 season preview
The Lancers will look to build on last year’s campaign in which they went 25-26 overall while competing in the tough West Coast Conference. They return a strong core of players and will look to add a few more pieces through the draft and recruiting. The team is scheduled to play 56 games this season, with 27 of those being conference matchups. They will open up the season on February 15th with a three-game series against UC Riverside and will close out the regular season on May 23rd against Pepperdine.

The Cal Baptist Lancers Baseball Team has announced their schedule for the 2019 season. The Lancers are coming off a 2018 season in which they had a 29-27 overall record and a 16-12 conference record. They will look to improve upon those numbers this season and make a run at the conference title
The Lancers will open up their season on February 1st with a three-game series against the Northwestern State Demons. They will then have a three-game home series against the UTEP Miners from February 8th-10th. The rest of their non-Conference Schedule includes games against Gonzaga, Nevada, Pepperdine, USC, and Washington State
Cal Baptist will begin conference play on March 15th with a three-game series on the road against the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners. They will then have six straight home games including three-game series against Grand Canyon Utah Valley, and Seattle U. The Lancers will close out their regular season on the road with three-game series against New Mexico State and UMKC.
2019 season predictions
The 2019 Cal Baptist baseball team will look to build on the success of last season as they look to make a run at the postseason. The Lancers finished the 2018 campaign with a 37-22 record and will return a slew of Key Players from that team.
Head coach Gary Adcock will once again lead the way for Cal Baptist as he enters his ninth season at the helm of the program. Last year, Adcock was named the West Region Coach of the Year after leading the Lancers to their first ever appearance in the NCAA Division II World Series
The Lancers will open up their 2019 campaign on February 1st with a three-game series against Point Loma They will then hit the road for a five-game stretch, which includes games against Fresno Pacific, Stanislaus State and Dixie State
Cal Baptist will have their home opener on February 22nd against Biola, and they will also host conference foes Azusa Pacific Concordia, and Academy of Art during the month of March.
The Lancers will close out their Regular Season schedule with a three-game series against Grand Canyon from May 10-12. The conference tournament is scheduled to begin on May 16th, and the NCAA Division II World Series is set to start on May 31st.
With a wealth of experience returning from last year’s squad, Cal Baptist should be in contention for another West Region title in 2019. The goal for this team is to get back to the World Series and take things one step further than they did last year

2019 season memories
As the 2019 season comes to a close, the Cal Baptist Baseball Team looks back on some of their best memories. 2019 was a historic season for the Lancers, as they won their first-ever West Region title and made their first appearance in the NCAA Division II World Series
The team started off the season strong, winning 14 of their first 15 games. They continued to rack up victories and ended the regular season with a 42-14 record, good for second place in the Pacific West Conference
In the postseason, the Lancers won the West Region tournament, defeating top-seeded Dixie State in the final. This earned them a spot in the NCAA Division II World Series where they went 1-2 before being eliminated.
Overall, it was a successful season for the Lancers, and they are looking forward to building on this success in 2020.
