Recent Results
The Columbus Clippers baseball team is the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees The team plays at Huntington Park, located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. The Clippers began play in 1977 as an affiliate of the Cleveland Indians The team has been affiliated with the Yankees since 1979.
The Clippers are currently managed by Jay Bell

The Central Collegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) is a collegiate Athletic Conference mostly consisting of Historically Black Colleges and universities (HBCUs). It participates in the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s Division II.
The baseball schedule is set to begin on February 28th. The conference tournament will be held from May 13th-16th at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, North Carolina
This will be the first season that the CIAA will use divisions to determine seeding for the conference tournament The North and South divisions will each have four teams qualify for the tournament. The top two seeds from each division will receive a first round bye in the double-elimination tournament.

CIU Baseball has been a dominant force in college baseball making it to the NCAA Division II tournament seven times in the past nine years. In that span, the program has advanced to the Elite Eight four times and the Final Four once. Overall, CIU has won six conference championships and three Regional Championships
