The class of 2024 basketball player rankings are out, and there are some very talented young players to watch for. Here are the five stars of the class:
1. Rasheed Wallace Jr.
Rasheed Wallace Jr. is a five-star Power Forward from Brooklyn, New York. He’s 6’8″, 240 pounds, and he’s ranked as the number one player in his class by multiple outlets. Rasheed has terrific footwork and touch around the basket, and he’s an excellent rebounder. He’s also a very good defender, with the potential to be great at that end of the court. Rasheed has already committed to play at Duke University next season.
2. Jaylen Blakney
Jaylen Blakney is a five-star point guard from Baton Rouge Louisiana. He’s 6’3″, 175 pounds, and he’s ranked as high as number two in his class by some outlets. Jaylen is an excellent scorer and shooter, and he has good vision and passing skills as well. He needs to improve his defense at the next level, but he has all the tools to be a very good player on that end of the court as well. Jaylen has not yet committed to a college, but he’s considering Baylor, Duke, Georgetown, Kansas, LSU, Memphis, and UCLA among others.
3. Michael Anderson Jr.
Michael Anderson Jr. is a five-star small forward from Chicago, Illinois. He’s 6’6″, 190 pounds, and he’s ranked in the top three of his class by multiple outlets. Michael is an excellent athlete with a tremendous wingspan. He’s a very good scorer and rebounder, and he has the potential to be a very good defender at the next level as well. Michael has not yet committed to a college but he’s considering Georgetown, Illinois, Marquette, Michigan State Notre Dame Ohio State Oklahoma State among others
