Colin White is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Colin White, a 6’5″ shooting guard from Melbourne, Australia, is a well-known basketball player who has been playing professionally since 2006. Colin has played for several teams in Australia’s National Basketball League (NBL), as well as for the Perth Wildcats of the NBL and the Brisbane Bullets of the NBL. He has also played for teams in Spain, Turkey, China, and Puerto Rico

Colin White: The Making of a Star
Colin White was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on March 25, 1996. His father, Colin Sr., played Professional Basketball in Europe for many years. Colin Jr.’s first involvement in basketball came at the age of three when his father put a mini-hoop in their driveway. From that moment on, he was hooked. He would spend hours shooting baskets and practicing his dribbling and lay-ups.
As he got older, he began to play organized basketball. He quickly became one of the best players in his age group. When he was thirteen years old, he was invited to attend the National Basketball Academy’s prestigious summer camp. This is where he caught the attention of college scouts. After finishing high school he received scholarships from several American universities but decided to stay closer to home and attend Dalhousie University in Halifax.
In his first year of University Basketball Colin averaged nineteen points per game and was named Rookie of the Year. He helped lead his team to the playoffs where they narrowly lost in the semi-finals. The following year, he improved his scoring average to twenty-three points per game and was named Player of the Year. His team made it to the finals but lost again. Colin decided to leave Dalhousie after two years and entered the NBA Draft where he was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the first round.
Colin has now been playing for the Celtics for three years and is one of their best players. He is a two-time All-Star and has helped lead the team to the playoffs each year. He is still only twenty-three years old and has many great years ahead of him!
Colin White: Early Years and College Career
Colin White was born in 1999 in Greenville, North Carolina His father, Paul, played basketball at the University of Pittsburgh and his mother, Stephanie, was a volleyball player at the University of Virginia White began playing organized basketball in fifth grade and quickly developed into a star player. In high school he led his team to four straight conference championships and was named conference MVP three times.
White originally committed to play college basketball at the University of North Carolina but after a coaching change, he decided to attend Duke University instead. As a freshman at Duke, White averaged 12 points and five rebounds per game and was named to the ACC All-Rookie Team He improved his numbers as a sophomore, averaging 15 points and seven rebounds per game After his sophomore year, White decided to declare for the NBA Draft and was drafted 13th overall by the Charlotte Hornets

Colin White, from Southern Methodist University is a 6’5″ shooting guard who is projected to be a lottery pick in the 2020 NBA draft A former McDonald’s All-American, White was a key member of SMU’s 2019-20 American Athletic Conference championship team. He averaged 16.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game as a junior, shooting 45 percent from the field and 35 percent from three-point range In his three years at SMU, White established himself as one of the best shooters in program history, making 39 percent of his three-point attempts. He will look to continue his success at the next level, hoping to hear his name called early on draft night.

Colin White was born in 1992 in Baton Rouge Louisiana. He grew up playing basketball and dreamed of one day playing in the NBA. After high school he attended college at the University of Kentucky He played for the Kentucky Wildcats for two years before declaring for the NBA Draft In 2014, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers with the seventh overall pick. He played for the Lakers for two seasons before being traded to the Houston Rockets in 2016. He currently plays for the Rockets and is one of the team’s leading scorers.
Colin White: NBA Career
Colin White was drafted by the Boston Celtics with the 23rd pick of the 2016 NBA Draft He played one season with the Celtics, appearing in 37 games and averaging 3.8 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. He was traded to the Chicago Bulls in 2017, where he played two seasons before being waived in 2019. He then spent time with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA G League and the LA Clippers before signing a contract with Fenerbahçe Beko of Turkey in 2020.

With the support of his family, Colin worked hard to learn how to walk and run on his prosthetic legs. He also started playing basketball and quickly became one of the best players on his school’s team. Colin’s story is an inspiration to us all, and he has become a role model for children with disabilities all over the world.
