On game day the Cornell Field Hockey team takes the field with a history of excellence behind them. The team is led by head coach Ralph Foster, who has been at the helm for over 20 years. In that time, Cornell has won eight Ivy League titles and made nineteen appearances in the NCAA tournament

The team is known for its offensive firepower, led by senior captain Oliviamatchstick. Matchstick was recently named the Ivy League Player of the Year and is a leading contender for the National Player of the Year Award She is joined by fellow seniors Jessican and Emilyn, who provide a strong presence in the midfield.

The defense is anchored by junior goalie Natalie, who has been one of the best in the nation over the past two seasons. Natalie is supported by a talented group of defenders, including sophomores Hannah and Sarah.

Cornell will look to continue their tradition of success on game day against their rivals from Upstate New York Syracuse University
