Crofton Baseball is Back

After a year away, Crofton Baseball is back and better than ever! This year, the league has expanded to include four teams: the Crofton Cardinals, the Crofton Brewers, the Crofton Dodgers, and the Crofton Mets. Each team is guaranteed to play ten games during the regular season with the top two teams advancing to the playoffs.

The league has also implemented a few rule changes this year in order to make the game more enjoyable for both players and spectators. First, each game will now be seven innings instead of nine. This will allow games to move along more quickly and avoid situations where one team is far ahead and the other team has no chance of catching up. Second, a mercy rule will now be in effect: if one team is ahead by ten or more runs after five innings, the game will be considered over and the winning team will be declared the winner.

With exciting new changes and a fresh start, Crofton Baseball is sure to be a hit this season!

The Schedule is Set

The schedule is set and Crofton Baseball is looking better than ever. The9U team will start the season off strong with an away game against Gambrills on Saturday, March 3rd at 10:00am. The10U team also has their first away game that day against Odenton at 1:00pm. Come out and support your Crofton Baseball teams!

The Players are Ready

The Crofton baseball team is back and better than ever. With a strong core of returning players and a few new additions, the team is primed for a successful season

The pitching staff is led by ace Jake Morgan, who is coming off a stellar junior season. He will be joined by fellow seniors Matt Johnson and Nick Williams who are both experienced starters. The bullpen is anchored by closer Chris Knight, who was nearly perfect last season.

The offense will be powered by seniors Alex Marshall and Josh Turner who are both returning All-Conference players. They will be joined by junior Brenden Shaw and sophomore Ryan Murphy who are both talented young hitters.

The team is coached by veteran coach Tim Johnson, who has led the team to two conference championships in his tenure. Coach Johnson is confident that this year’s team has what it takes to make a run at the state title.

The Coaches are Ready

spring training is underway and the Coaches are ready for another great season of Crofton Baseball. This year, we have some new, young talent on the team that is sure to bring some excitement to the games. We also have a few returning players that are sure to make an impact. The Game is On

Crofton Baseball is back and better than ever! After a hiatus of several years, the team is now back and ready to take on its opponents. The team’s manager, Joe Girardi has put together a strong lineup of players that are sure to give the other teams a run for their money.

The Results are In

The Crofton Little League All-Stars were at it again this weekend, with big wins in both the district and state tournaments. After a hard-fought battle against the Kensington Stallions on Saturday, the All-Stars won 12-2, securing their spot in the Maryland State Tournament

On Sunday, they took on the Severna Park Green Hornets and won 9-3, bringing home the District 8 Championship Title This is the second year in a row that Crofton has taken home the district title, and they are looking to make it to the World Series this year.

The team will be heading to Baltimore this weekend to compete in the State Tournament and we wish them all the best of luck!

The Crofton baseball league is back and better than ever! With new fields, new equipment, and a commitment to player safety we’re looking forward to another great season of baseball.

This year, we’re excited to offer a variety of programs for players of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned veteran, we have a program for you. From our tee-ball program for 4-6 year olds to our competitive travel teams for high schoolers, we have something for everyone.

We’re also proud to offer scholarships to qualified players in need. Our goal is to make sure that everyone who wants to play baseball has the opportunity to do so.
