Crossroads Baseball Tournament what is it?

The Crossroads Baseball Tournament is an annual event that takes place in various locations around the country. It is a tournament for young men aged 18-20 who have not yet been drafted by a Major League Baseball team. The tournament is run by the nonprofit organization Crossroads Baseball

The tournament was created in 2004 by former New York Yankees pitcher, Jim Abbott His goal was to provide a platform for young men who had the ability to play baseball at a high level but had not yet been given the opportunity to showcase their talent.

Since its inception, the Crossroads Baseball Tournament has seen over 1,000 participants from all over the United States Of those participants, 25 have gone on to be drafted by a Major League Baseball team and six have gone on to play in the MLB.

TheCrossroads Baseball Tournament is typically held in early August and consists of four teams that play each other in a round-robin style tournament. The teams are made up of players who are currently enrolled in college or who have just graduated from High School
