De Anza College’s Baseball Program
De Anza College’s baseball program is one of the most successful in the country. Every year, the team competes for the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) title and has won the championship five times. The team is also a regular contender in the National junior college Athletic Association (NJCAA) World Series
The De Anza Falcons are known for their strong pitching staff and stout defense. In recent years the team has produced several Major League Baseball players, including San Francisco Giants All-Star first baseman Brandon Belt.

The College’s League
De Anza Baseball is a college Sports Team that competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), Division II level. The Dons play their home games at Hill College in Los Altos Hills, California. The team is currently coached by Doug Jumelet.
The team has won one National Championship and five conference championships outright, and has shared four conference championships. In 1980, De Anza went undefeated in conference play and finished the season with a 54-0 record. The team won the California Community College Baseball Championship and was crowned National Champions by the NJCAA.

The Team’s History
The De Anza Baseball Team is a Community College team located in the San Francisco Bay Area The team was founded in 1967 and has won several league championships, most recently in 2007. The team is currently a member of the Bay Valley Conference
The Team’s Success
Under the leadership of Head Coach Tony Sanchez the De Anza Dons baseball team has had great success in recent years Coach Sanchez has led the team to three consecutive Coast North championships and two CCCAA State titles. The Dons have also been ranked #1 in Northern California for three straight seasons.
The Team’s Fans
The team’s fans are a league of their own. They are passionate, supportive, and enthusiastic. They are the reason the team is successful.
The Rival Teams
The De Anza baseball league is made up of two teams, the San Francisco Seals and the Oakland Oaks. Both teams are in the same division and each team has a long-standing rivalry with the other. The Seals have won the division title for the past three years, but the Oaks are looking to take home the title this year.
The two teams play each other four times during the regular season and each team has won two games so far. The next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 5th at 6:00pm at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.
The Future of the Team
The De Anza Dons baseball team has been a staple in the Bay Area for over 50 years. The team has produced numerous Major League Baseball players, including Hall of Famer Dave Stewart The Dons have also won multiple league championships and are widely considered one of the top Collegiate Baseball programs in the nation.
However, the future of the team is currently in jeopardy as the school is experiencing severe financial difficulties. If the team is not able to raise enough money to cover their expenses, they will be forced to disband.

The College’s Other Programs
In addition to its well-known and respected academic programs, De Anza College also offers a wide variety of athletic and extracurricular opportunities for students. Among these are the De Anza Baseball team which competes in the Bay Valley Conference of the California Community College Athletic Association.
The team has been highly successful in recent years winning the conference championship in 2013 and 2014. They have also been recognized nationally, finishing third in the nation in 2013 and fourth in 2014.
The team is made up of student-athletes from all over the world, with players from countries such as Japan, Venezuela, Canada, and the United States The team is coached by Steve Anson, who has been with the program for 18 years.
The De Anza baseball team provides an opportunity for students to compete at a high level while also getting an education. For many players, it is a chance to continue their baseball careers after High School or Junior College For others, it is a chance to learn about a new sport and culture.
The team has a long history of success, dating back to its beginnings in 1967. Since then, it has won 14 conference championships and two State Championships It has also produced numerous Major League Baseball players, including Mark McLemore, Mike Fetters, Randy Flores, and John Halama.

De Anza College is located in Cupertino, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley. The college is situated on 103 acres of Rolling Hills just off of Stevens Creek Boulevard. De Anza College is named after the Spanish explorer Juan Bautista de Anza and was founded in 1967.
