2020 Diaa Basketball Tournament overview

The 2020 DI men’s Basketball Tournament will be held from March 17 to April 6, 2020. A total of 68 teams will participate in the tournament, with the First Four games being played on March 17 and 18. The first and second rounds will be held on March 19 and 21, followed by the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight rounds on March 26 and 28, respectively. The Final Four will take place on April 4, with the National Championship game being played on April 6.

The 2020 Diaa Basketball Tournament will take place from March 3-7 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The tournament will feature all eight Diaa Basketball teams, with each team playing three games in the first round. The four teams with the best records will advance to the semifinals, with the two winners meeting in the Championship game on March 7.

Game previews

The 2020 Diaa Basketball Tournament is almost upon us, and there are sure to be some great games played Here is a preview of some of the games that look to be the most exciting.

In the first round, the top seeded team will take on the 16th seeded team. This is usually a fairly easy win for the top team but there have been upsets in the past. The 8th seeded team will take on the 9th seeded team in what is sure to be a close game The 5th seeded team will take on the 12th seeded team in another game that could go either way.

In the second round, the winners of the first round games will face off against each other. The 4th seed will take on the 13th seed and the 6th seed will take on the 11th seed. These should be two close games with a lot of excitement.

The third round will see the winners of those second round games facing off against each other. The 2nd seed will take on the 7th seed and the 3rd seed will take on 10th seed in what are sure to be two more great games.

And finally, in the fourth round, or the semifinals, 1st seed will take on 4th place and 2nd place will take 3rd place in what are sure to be two thrilling games. After those two matchups are decided, we will know who is playing in 2020 Diaa Basketball Tournament Championship game

Day 1 recap

The 2020 Diaa basketball tournament kicked off on March 3 with some exciting matchups. In the first game of the day, top-seeded Bluegrass defeated 8th-seeded Louisville 66-57. Bluegrass was led by Junior forward Kentrell Barkley, who had a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

In the second game of the day, 4th-seeded Lexington Catholic defeated 5th-seeded Bowling Green 71-69 in a close matchup. Lexington Catholic was led by Sophomore guard Tyler Eastman, who had 19 points and 7 assists.

The third game of the day featured 2nd-seeded Covington Catholic against 7th-seeded Owensboro. Covington Catholic won convincingly, 82-51. Covington Catholic was led by Senior guard AJ Mayer, who had 24 points and 6 assists.

In the final game of the day, 3rd-seeeded Scott County took on 6th-seeded Dixie Heights. Scott County won 74-57 behind 20 points from Senior forward Michael Moreno.

Day 2 recap

The second day of the 2020 Diaa Basketball Tournament featured four more matchups, two in each bracket. In the bottom half of the bracket, #5 Hampton defeated #4 Norfolk State 71-63 and #3 Old Dominion beat #6 Bethune-Cookman 73-68. In the top half of the bracket, #5 Maryland Eastern Shore upset #4 Florida A&M 73-70 and #2 North Carolina A&T edged out #7 Howard 73-69.

Day 3 recap

The 2020 Diaa Basketball Tournament continued on Wednesday with four more quarterfinal games. Below are the scores and a recap of each game.

In the first game of the day, top-seeded Salesianum School beat 8th-seeded St. Georges Technical high school by a score of 72-48. Salesianum was led by senior guard Mikey Dixon, who scored 23 points. St. Georges was led by sophomore guard Omari Spellman, who scored 12 points.

In the second game of the day, 2nd-seeded Middletown high school beat 7th-seeded Hodgson Vo-Tech by a score of 75-61. Middletown was led by junior guard Myles Cale, who scored 20 points. Hodgson was led by senior forward Isaiah McCray, who scored 21 points.

In the third game of the day, 3rd-seeded Thomas More beat 6th-seeded Sanford School by a score of 63-54. Thomas More was led by junior guard Jordan Dickerson, who scored 19 points. Sanford was led by senior forward Najee Chapman, who scored 16 points.

In the fourth and final game of the day, 4th-seeded Smyrna high school beat 5th-seeded Newark high school by a score of 54-52 in overtime. Smyrna was led by junior forward Ja’Merea Long, who scored 21 points. Newark was led by senior guard Koby Kemper, who scored 18 points.

Championship game preview

The 2020 Diaa Basketball Tournament will culminate with the Championship game on Saturday, March 7th. The game will pit the North Carolina Tar Heels against the Duke Blue Devils two of the most storied programs in college basketball history.

Both teams had to battle their way through tough competition to reach this point. The Tar Heels narrowly defeated the Virginia Cavaliers in the semifinals, while Duke came from behind to beat the Syracuse Orange

This will be the first meeting between these two teams this season. In their previous matchup, Duke won 72-68 thanks to a last-second three-pointer by freshman guard RJ Barrett.

The Tar Heels will be looking to avenge that loss and claim the tournament title. While Duke has more recent success in the tournament, North Carolina holds the overall edge with 18 championship wins compared to Duke’s 15.
