Our goal is to provide an opportunity for all players, regardless of skill level, to learn and develop their baseball talents while having fun. We offer programs for all ages, from tee-ball to seniors. Our knowledgeable and experienced coaches are dedicated to helping each player reach his or her potential. We are proud to have been serving the community for over 60 years and look forward to continuing to provide a great baseball experience for all.

The History of Dwight Morrow Baseball

Dwight Morrow baseball has been a part of the Elwood community for over 50 years. The league was founded in 1966 by a group of local parents who wanted to give their kids a place to play ball It has since grown into one of the most successful youth programs in the state, serving thousands of Boys and Girls each year.

The league is named after Dwight Morrow, a former Major League Baseball player and Engelwood native. Morrow played for the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox before returning to his hometown to open a successful law practice. He was also an active member of the community, coaching little League teams and serving on the board of directors for several local organizations.

Morrow’s son, David, is currently the president of Dwight Morrow baseball. Under his leadership, the league has expanded its program to include divisions for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to compete at a high level, Dwight Morrow baseball has a place for you.

The league is open to all players ages 5-18 and offers a variety of divisions to play in, including T-Ball, Rookie, Minor, Major, and Senior. The Dwight Morrow Baseball Tournament

The Dwight Morrow Baseball Tournament is an annual event that takes place in the spring. It is open to all players ages 9-12, and features four different divisions: Little League, Junior League, senior league and Big League There are four teams in each division, and each team is guaranteed to play three games. The tournament is named after former Major League Baseball player Dwight Morrow, who was born and raised in the area.

The Dwight Morrow Baseball Academy

Dwight Morrow Baseball is a youth organization that runs the Dwight Morrow Baseball Academy The academy provides baseball instruction for children of all ages and abilities. We believe that every child can benefit from learning the game of baseball, and our goal is to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for all.

The academy offers both group and private lessons, as well as team practices. We have a wide variety of instructors, all of whom are experienced and knowledgeable about the game of baseball. No matter what your child’s level of interest or ability, we are confident that we can provide a positive and enriching experience.

In addition to baseball instruction the academy also offers a variety of other services. We have a fully-equipped gym, complete with weights and cardiovascular equipment. We also offer personal training services, as well as nutrition counseling. Our goal is to help our clients achieve their full potential, both on and off the field.

The Dwight Morrow Baseball League for Youth is a place for everyone. We are a youth baseball league that is open to all players ages 5-18. We have something for everyone, from the beginning player just learning the game, to the more advanced player looking to take their game to the next level.

The Future of Dwight Morrow Baseball

Dwight Morrow Baseball has been a mainstay in the Englewood community for generations. The storied program has produced Major League baseball players college All-Americans, and successful businesspeople. Today, Dwight Morrow Baseball is changing with the times to ensure that it remains a relevant and vital part of the community for years to come.

The first change that you’ll notice is our new name: Dwight Morrow Athletic Association (DMAA). While baseball has always been our primary focus, we want to be known as an organization that offers something for everyone. In addition to our traditional baseball programs, we now offer flag football, basketball, and cheerleading. We’ve also expanded our after-school program to include homework help and enrichment activities.

Our biggest change, however, is our new home. In 2019, we will move from our current location on Union Avenue to a brand-new facility on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The new DMAA complex will include six baseball/softball fields, four football/soccer fields, a track & field facility, a gymnasium, and a state-of-the-art clubhouse. This move will allow us to better serve the needs of our growing organization and provide our members with the best possible experience.
