Welcome to the official website of Fairfield University Athletics. Our mission is to support the student-athletes who represent Fairfield University by providing an amazing fan experience, promoting a culture of fair play, and cultivating a championship environment.

We are proud to sponsor 19 NCAA Division I teams, including Baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, rowing, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, and volleyball. Our teams compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference (A10), Big East Conference (BE), Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), East Conference (NEC), and Patriot League (PL).

We are committed to providing our student-athletes with the resources they need to succeed academically, athletically, and socially. We offer outstanding facilities for training and competition, including state-of-the-art weight rooms, training rooms, and locker rooms Our teams also have access to expert coaches and staff members who are dedicated to helping them reach their full potential.

The 2019 season

The Fairfield Stags baseball team represents Fairfield University in NCAA Division I college baseball The Stags play their home games at Alumni Diamond in Fairfield, Connecticut. They are members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference

The 2020 season

The Fairfield University baseball team schedule for the 2020 season has been announced. The Stags will open their season on the road against the University of Connecticut on February 14, 2020. They will play a total of 56 games in the regular season 28 of which will be played at home at Alumni Diamond. Among the teams Fairfield will compete against at home are conference foes Siena, Quinnipiac, Canisius, and Marist.

The 2021 season

The 2021 season is the 125th for Fairfield University’s Baseball Team The Stags will compete as members of the East Conference (NEC) under Head Coach Bill Currier, in his 12th season. They play their home games at Alumni Diamond in Fairfield, Connecticut.

The 2022 season

Fairfield’s baseball will play thirty-six games in the 2022 season. The Stags will open their season on February 25th against Rider. The home opener is scheduled for March 4th against Dartmouth.
Other important games include the three-game series against Yale from April 8-10 and the four-game set against Holy Cross from April 15-17. conference play will begin on April 22nd when the Stags travel to take on Manhattan.
The final regular season Home game is set for May 20th versus Canisius and Fairfield will close out the Regular Season with a three-game series at Siena from May 27-29. The top four teams in the conference will qualify for the MAAC Baseball Championship which is scheduled to begin on June 3rd.

The 2023 season

The Fairfield Baseball Schedule has finally been released and there is a lot to be excited about. The 2023 season is set to begin on March 1st with a game against the defending champion Boston Red Sox Fairfield will also be playing games against the New York Yankees Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays

The 2024 season

The Fairfield baseball schedule for the 2024 season is now available. The team will open the season on the road against the New York Yankees on April 1st.

The 2025 season

The 2025 Fairfield Stags baseball season will be the program’s 105th season of play. The Stags will compete as a member of the East Conference (NEC) and will play their home games at Alumni Diamond in Fairfield, Connecticut.

The 2026 season

The Fairfield Baseball Schedule for the 2026 season was recently released and it looks like the team will have another great year. The team will play a total of 162 games, 81 of which will be at home and 81 of which will be away. Some of the highlights of the season include Opening Day on April 6th, a four-game series against the rival New Haven Bears from May 14-17, and a ten-game homestand in August.

The 2027 season

The 2027 Fairfield Baseball schedule has not yet been released.
