How the Georgia Bulldogs fared in baseball today
The Georgia Bulldogs improved to 9-1 on the season with a win over the Florida Gators today. The Bulldogs got off to a hot start, scoring four runs in the first inning. They would add two more runs in the fourth inning and cruised to a 6-2 victory.
The Bulldogs got a strong performance from starting pitcher Johnathan Cannon, who went seven innings, giving up two runs on six hits while striking out four. The bullpen came in and shut the door, with relievers Zachary Logue and Blake Cairnes combining to pitch two scoreless innings.
