Introduction

Holy Spirit High School has a long tradition of success in baseball, winning numerous conference, county, and State Championships over the years. The team is currently coached by Mike Abboud, who has been at the helm for the past eight seasons. During his tenure, the team has won two conference championships and one state championship Under Coach Abboud’s leadership, the team has developed a reputation for being a perennial contender for both conference and state titles.

The Team

The Holy Spirit high school baseball team is a varsity level team that is open to all students in grades 9-12. The team competes in the Tri-County Conference and is coached by Mike Dolan.

The Game

The feeling of standing on the pitcher’s mound, looking in for the sign from the catcher is unlike anything else. The bases are loaded, two outs, full count, bottom of the ninth inning and the game is on the line. As the pitcher winds up, everyone in the stands is on their feet, cheering for their team. The batter steps out of the batter’s box, takes a practice swing, and steps back in. The pitcher throws the ball and… strike three! The game is over and your team has won! There is no feeling like it in the world.

The Fans
