It’s time to meet the 2020-2021 IMG Academy Varsity Basketball team! This year’s roster is packed with top talent from across the country, ready to take on some of the best High School basketball teams in the nation.
Head coach John Calipari oversees a team that features eight McDonald’s All-Americans, two Gatorade National Players of the Year, and a USA Basketball gold medalist. Get to know the 2020-2021 IMG Academy varsity basketball team below.

The Competition
As the 2020-2021 season approaches, the IMG basketball team is preparing to take on some of the best competition in the country. Featuring a roster of dynamic and talented players, the team is looking to build on last year’s success and make a run at the national title.
Here is a closer look at some of the players who will be suiting up for IMG this season:
--point guard Cole Anthony is one of the top recruits in the country and has already drawn comparisons to NBA superstar Stephen Curry A true floor general, Anthony has the ability to take over a game with his scoring and playmaking abilities.
--shooting guard Josh Green is another top recruit who brings a wealth of skill and athleticism to the team. A versatile player, Green can knock down shots from anywhere on the court and is also an excellent defender.
--small forward Cassius Stanley is yet another highly touted recruit who has all the tools to be a star at the collegiate level. A Highlight Factory product, Stanley is an explosive leaper with dynamic scoring ability.
--Power Forward Precious Achiuwa rounds out the starting lineup A physical presence in the paint, Achiuwa is a bruiser who plays with great energy and effort.
This group of talented players will give IMG a chance to compete with anyone in the country this season. Be sure to catch them in action as they pursue their goal of winning a national championship!

Just like any other year, the fans are what make Basketball season so great. From die-hard superfans to students just looking for a good time, everyone is welcome at our games. And with such a passionate fan base, it’s no surprise that our team has some of the best support in the league.
The Alumni
The Alumni are a team of former college and Professional Basketball Players who provide mentorship, support, and guidance to the varsity team Comprised of a mix of skilled post players and long-range shooters, the Alumni are always a tough matchup.
The Future
The 2020-2021 season is looking very promising for the IMG Basketball team With a strong core of returning players and some new additions, the team is poised to make a run at the championship.
