Karl Foster’s baseball journey began in 2008 when he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays He played in the minor leagues for three years before making his Major League debut in 2011. He played for the Rays for two years before being traded to the Chicago Cubs in 2013. He played for the Cubs for one year before being released. He then played for the independent Lehigh Valley IronPigs for one year. In 2015, he signed with the Miami Marlins and is currently playing for their Triple-A affiliate, the New Orleans Zephyrs.
