Kennesaw State Baseball Releases 2020 Schedule

The Kennesaw State baseball team has released its 2020 schedule, which features 27 home games at Stillwell Stadium. The Owls will open the season on February 14 against Rutgers and will also host Georgia Tech Clemson, and Alabama during the non-conference portion of their schedule.

2020 season

The 2020 college baseball season will be the Kennesaw State Owls’ 25th season of play. The Owls will compete as members of the Atlantic Sun Conference (A-Sun) under first year Head Coach Gabe Gross.

Schedule

The 2020 Kennesaw State baseball schedule has been announced, and the Owls will open the season at home against UCF on February 14th. The schedule includes 31 regular season games, with 18 of those games taking place at Stillwell Stadium. Highlights of the schedule include a three-game series against Georgia Tech (March 13-15), a home matchup against Clemson (April 7), and a road series against Alabama (May 15-17).

In addition to their highly-anticipated conference matchups, the Kennesaw State Owls will also face some tough non-conference opponents in 2020. The squad opens the season on February 14th at home against crosstown rival Georgia Tech Then, they’ll host a three-game series against Wright State from February 21st-23rd. After a midweek game at Mercer on February 26th, the Owls will welcome Charlotte to town for a three-game set from February 28th-March 1st.

The 2020 schedule includes three exhibitions against SEC opponents Georgia (February 25), Ole Miss (February 29) and Mississippi State (March 3). The regular season begins on February 14 with a three-game series at UCF. Other notable non-conference opponents include Georgia Tech (March 10-12), Clemson (April 21-23) and Pitt (May 15-17).

In conference play the Owls will compete in the asun conference They will play a double round robin format against each of the other seven teams in the conference. The top four teams at the end of conference play will advance to the ASUN conference tournament which will be held May 20-24 in DeLand, Florida.

College baseball

KENNESAW, Ga. (Feb. 3, 2020) – The Kennesaw State Owls Baseball team released their 2020 schedule on Tuesday afternoon, highlighted by a game at state rival Georgia Tech on March 10th.

The Owls will play a total of 56 games in the 2020 season, their first under new head coach Chris Moore. KSU opens the season with a three-game series at UNC Wilmington from February 14-16 before returning home to host Air Force from February 21-23.

Non-conference opponents

The Kennesaw State Owls baseball team has announced their 2020 schedule, which features 27 home games and 56 total contests. The slate is highlighted by 34 games against teams that qualified for the 2019 NCAA tournament including 15 games against teams that reached the Super Regional round.

The Owls will begin their season with a three-game homestand against Hofstra on February 14-16. They will then hit the road for a 10-day, 11-game trip to Florida, taking on Florida Atlantic (Feb. 21-23), Miami (Feb. 25), Stetson (Feb. 28-March 1), Florida Gulf Coast (March 3), and Bethune-Cookman (March 6-8).
