Mississippi State pulled off a stunning upset victory over Louisiana Tech last night, leaving the Bulldogs’ fans heartbroken.

However, Mississippi State would not be denied. The Bulldogs answered with an 8-0 run of their own to take a 68-60 lead with under two minutes left in the game. Louisiana Tech made one final push, but they could not get any closer than four points and Mississippi State went on to win the game 72-66.

What’s even more frustrating is that this loss was completely self-inflicted. La Tech had every opportunity to win this game, but their poor attitude and lackadaisical effort cost them dearly. If they had just played with a little more heart, they could have pulled off the upset.
