Lake Travis baseball has a rich history of success on and off the field. The program has been a perennial powerhouse in District 25-6A, winning five district championships in the last six years. The Cavaliers have also made three trips to the Class 6A State Tournament in that span, including a runner-up finish in 2017.

Off the field, Lake Travis is committed to developing its players both as athletes and as young men. The program’s goal is to instill a strong work ethic, sense of teamwork and respect for the game in its players. The Coaching Staff

The Coaching Staff of the Lake Travis baseball team is comprised of experienced and dedicated coaches who are committed to helping their players reach their full potential both on and off the field. The team’s Head Coach is Tim Gaul, who has been with the program for 10 years. Under his leadership, the team has won two State Championships and made six appearances in the playoffs.

Assistant coaches include Eric Goff, who has worked with the team for four years, and John Tatum, who is in his first year with the program. Both coaches bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team and are committed to helping the players reach their goals.

The coaching staff works hard to create a positive and supportive environment for the players while also challenging them to be their best both on and off the field. They are an important part of what makes Lake Travis Baseball a tradition of excellence.

The Players

The Lake Travis high school baseball team is one of the most successful programs in the state of Texas. Since the program began in 2001, the team has won six state championships including five in a row from 2013 to 2017. The team is made up of talented players from all over the Austin area who come together to form a dynasty.

The Fans

Whether it’s the tailgaters in left field or the students in right, Lake Travis baseball fans are some of the most passionate and loyal in Texas.

Since the program’s inception in 1978, the Cavs have won 27 district championships, 16 conference championships 12 Regional Championships and 3 State Championships making them one of the most successful programs in the state.

And it all starts with the fans. On any given night during the season, you’ll find the stands packed with cheering fans of all ages, each one hoping to see their team bring home another win.
