History
In 1998, a group of four friends got together with the goal of providing a high-Level Basketball experience for kids in the Washington, D.C. area. They started by holding open gyms and clinics, and quickly gained a following among local parents and players.
In 2002, they took things to the next level by starting Landmark Basketball, a AAU Program that has since become one of the most successful in the country. To date, Landmark has sent over 100 players to Division I schools on scholarship, and has had multiple players selected in the NBA draft
Landmark is more than just a Basketball Program – it’s a family. The coaches and staff are dedicated to helping each player reach their full potential, both on and off the court. If you’re looking for a place to call home for your Basketball Journey look no further than Landmark Basketball.
The Arena

Landmark Basketball is open to the public seven days a week, and there are always plenty of talented players on hand to shoot some hoops.

The Coaches
The Coaches of Landmark Basketball are some of the most experienced and successful in the DMV.
Each Coach has played collegiate basketball and/or has over 15 years of experience coaching at the youth, AAU, and/or high school level.
Coach Patterson led the Springfield Sensations to a AAU National Championship in 2006, and he was named Coach of the Year.
Coach Dowell coached his team to a 28-1 record and the WABA Championship in 2007.
And Coach McGrath helped lead his team to a state championship in 2010.

High School:
-DeMatha vs. St. John’s: These two perennial powerhouses have battled for bragging rights in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference for years. The DeMatha Stags have won the last four meetings, but the St. John’s Cadets will be looking to turn things around this season.
-Oxon Hill vs. Suitland: These two Prince George’s County schools are just miles apart, and the on-court rivalry is just as heated. The teams have split their last ten meetings, with each squad winning five games apiece.
AAU:
-Team Takeover vs. DC Blue Devils These two AAU programs have produced some of the best players in the country, and they always seem to be battling for supremacy on the court.
