Duke Baseball Releases Schedule for 2022 Season

The Duke Blue Devils Baseball Team has released their schedule for the upcoming 2022 season. The team will open the season with a three-game series against the University of Pittsburgh on February 17-19.

Duke will play a total of 56 games in the regular season with 27 of those games taking place at home in Durham, North Carolina conference play will begin on March 10th when Duke takes on Georgia Tech

Other notable matchups include a three-game series against defending National Champion Vanderbilt from April 14-16 and a four-game set against Clemson from May 12-15. The Blue Devils will also host UNC Wilmington East Carolina and Davidson.

The ACC Baseball Tournament is scheduled to begin on May 25th, and the NCAA tournament will begin on June 3rd.

Duke Baseball to play against top teams in 2022

Duke Baseball will play some of the top teams in the country during the 2022 season according to the schedule released by the program on Wednesday.

The Blue Devils will open the season with a three-game series at home against Georgia Tech from Feb. 17-19. Duke will then have a four-game home stand against Coastal Carolina (Feb. 24-27) and Liberty (March 3-6) before hitting the road for back-to-back ACC series at Wake Forest (March 10-12) and Boston College (March 17-19).

Duke will then return home for an eight-game home stand that includes a three-game series against Pittsburgh (March 24-26), a Tuesday game against Elon (March 28) and a three-game set against James Madison (April 1-3). The Blue Devils close out April with road series at Virginia Tech (April 7-9) and Notre Dame (April 15-17) before returning home to host NC State for a three – game set from April 21 – 23.

Duke will close out the regular season with seven of its last 10 games on the road, including three – game series at Clemson (April 28 – 30), Miami (May 5 – 7) and Florida State (May 12 – 14). The Blue Devils will wrap up their home schedule with a midweek game against UNC Asheville(May 16) and a three – game set against Georgia Tech from May 19 – 21.

The top eight teams in the Conference Standings will qualify for the ACC Baseball Championship which is scheduled for May 25 – 29 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Duke baseball to host several tournaments in 2022

The Blue Devils will open the season with a three-game series against Campbell February 18-20. They will then travel to Nashville, Tennessee to take on Vanderbilt in a three-game series February 25-27.

Duke baseball to travel to different states in 2022

Duke Baseball will travel to four different states in 2022, the program announced Wednesday.

The Blue Devils will open their season Feb. 18 with a three-game series at Stanford, followed by a trip to play USC Feb. 25-27. Duke will also play Cal State Fullerton March 4-6 and close out its West Coast swing with a March 11-13 series at Pepperdine.

Duke’s first home series of the season will be March 18-20 against Appalachian State and the Blue Devils will host Virginia Tech April 1-3 and Pittsburgh April 8-10 in ACC action. Duke will also welcome Old Dominion (April 12), Elon (April 19) and James Madison (April 26) to Durham for midweek games.

The Blue Devils will travel to Florida State April 15-17 and Georgia Tech April 29-May 1 before closing out their Regular Season at home against Clemson May 13-15. The ACC tournament is set for May 18-22 in Greensboro, N.C., with the NCAA Tournament beginning May 27.

Duke baseball to play in newly renovated stadium in 2022

Duke baseball will play its first season in the newly renovated Duke Stadium in 2022. The stadium, which is currently undergoing a $250 million renovation, will have a capacity of 12,500 spectators.
