Game highlights

The 2015 Le Moyne College baseball team will open its season on Friday, February 13th with a three-game series against St. Thomas Aquinas The Dolphins will be looking to build on their success from last year, when they reached the NCAA Division II World Series for the first time in school history. The team’s home opener will be on Saturday, March 14th against Mercyhurst.

Team news

The Le Moyne College Baseball Team is set to open its 2019 season on Saturday, Feb. 23, when the Dolphins travel to North Carolina to take on Catawba in a doubleheader.

Le Moyne will play its first home games of the season the following weekend, March 1-3, when it hosts Canisius for a four-game weekend series. The games on Saturday and Sunday will both start at noon, while the game on Friday will start at 3 p.m.

The Dolphins will play a total of six home series during the regular season including three Northeast-10 Conference series. Le Moyne will host Southern Connecticut for a three-game set April 5-6, Franklin Pierce for a four-game series April 12-13 and St. Michael’s for a three-game set April 26-27.

-The early Signing Period for Division I Baseball is from November 8-15. During this period, Prospective Student Athletes (PSAs) can sign a National Letter of Intent or athletic scholarship agreement with a Division I school.
-The regular signing period for Division I Baseball is from April 11 – August 1.

-Billy Rohr: Pitched for the Boston Red Sox in 1967, and is best remembered for pitching the first game in Fenway Park history.
-Rich Gale: Pitched for six different teams over his 13-year career, including the Montreal Expos and Kansas City Royals
