Introduction

The Long Island University men’s ice Hockey Team is a Division I program that plays in the Atlantic Hockey conference. The team is based at the LIU Post campus in Brookville, New York, and has been coached by Brett Riley since 2017. The program has produced several NHL players including current Los Angeles Kings defenseman Derek Forbort and former Boston Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas
