2019 Longwood Baseball Schedule

The 2019 Longwood Baseball Schedule is out, and there are plenty of games to catch this season. The Lancers will be playing their home games at the Diamond in Virginia, and they’ll be facing off against some tough competition. Here are some of the key games to catch this season:

-March 22-24: Longwood vs. George Mason
-March 29-31: Longwood vs. Norfolk State
-April 12-14: Longwood vs. Liberty
-May 17-19: Longwood vs. VMI

Games to Catch This Season

If you’re looking to catch some of the action this year, here is a list of some of the games you won’t want to miss:

-March 3rd: home opener against Norfolk State Come out and support the team as they start off their season on their home turf!
-April 7th: Game against Virginia Commonwealth University This will be a great matchup between two in-state rivals.
-May 12th: The final Home game of the season against James Madison University. Come out and show your support for the team as they head into conference playoffs.

Whether you’re a diehard baseball fan or just looking for a fun way to spend a few hours in the sun, wood baseball has something for everyone. So mark your calendars and we’ll see you at the ballpark!

Home Games

Away Games

Looking for a reason to get out of Longwood for a day? These away games are definitely worth the road trip Make sure to catch at least one of these matchups!

-February 27th: Florida Southern
-March 2nd and 3rd: Stetson
-March 9th and 10th: Liberty
-March 23rd and 24th: North Carolina A&T

Conference Games

As the regular season comes to a close, the conference games become more and more important. Here is a list of the top 5 games to catch this season according to Longwood Baseball

5/9 @ Hampden-Sydney – The Lancers visit rival Hampden-Sydney for the final time this season. Longwood is looking to continue its recent success against the Tigers, having won 3 of the last 5 meetings.

5/10 vs. Randolph-Macon – Another key conference game features Longwood hosting Randolph-Macon. The Yellow Jackets come into Farmville on a hot streak, having won 8 of their last 10.

5/12 @ Lynchburg – Lynchburg is always a tough place to play and this game will be no different. The Hornets currently sit atop the Conference Standings and are looking to solidify their position heading into the conference tournament

5/16 vs. Virginia Wesleyan – The final home game of the season is also Senior Day, as the Lancers host Virginia Wesleyan Longwood will be looking to send its seniors out with a win on their final day at home.

5/17 @ Virginia Wesleyan – The Lancers wrap up the regular season on the road against Virginia Wesleyan. With a win, Longwood can clinch the #4 seed in the conference tournament and avoid having to play in the Opening Round

The Longwood Lancers baseball team has released their schedule for the upcoming season As always, they will be playing a mix of conference and non-conference games. Here are some of the non-conference games that you won’t want to miss:

– Feb. 28 – Mar. 3: vs. Campbell Fighting Camels
– Mar. 6 – Mar. 10: vs. Jacksonville Dolphins
– Mar. 13 – Mar. 17: Liberty Flames
