The wait is over! The 2017-2018 Towson Basketball Schedule has finally been released.

The schedule includes some tough non-conference opponents like MD, Rutgers, and George Washington as well as some familiar CAA foes. The Tigers will start the season at home against UMBC on November 10th and will end the season on the road against Elon on February 24th. Here is the complete schedule:

The wait is finally over and the Towson Basketball Schedule is here! The Tigers will tip off their season at home against George Mason on November 5th, and they will have plenty of opportunities to make noise in the conference this season. Here are some of the key games to look forward to:

-November 29th vs. Richmond: This will be the Tigers’ first conference game of the season, and it will be a great opportunity to see how they stack up against one of the better teams in the league.

-January 3rd vs. La Salle: This game will be a rematch of last year’s thrilling overtime game that saw Towson come out on top. La Salle is always a tough team, so this will be a good test for the Tigers.

-January 17th vs. VCU: VCU is always one of the best teams in the conference, so this will be a tough test for Towson early in conference play

-February 7th vs. George Washington This game could have major implications for the Conference Standings so it should be a great one to watch.

Game Times and Locations

The 2013-14 season for the Towson men’s and women’s basketball teams is just around the corner and Game Times and locations have been announced.

The men’s team will open their season at home on November 8th against Loyola, while the women will start their season on November 10th on the road at James Madison

Both teams will participate in the annual Maryland Invitational Tournament, with the men’s team taking on Navy in the first round on November 29th and the women’s team facing off against UMBC in the first round on December 6th.

Some key games to look out for.

The 2017-2018 season for the Towson men’s basketball team is here, and there are some key games to look out for. The Tigers will be looking to make a return to the NCAA tournament this year after falling just short last season, and they will have their work cut out for them with a tough schedule. Some of the games to keep an eye on are:

-November 10th vs. Oklahoma State This is Towson’s first game against a power conference opponent this season. The Cowboys are always a tough team, and this will be a good early test for the Tigers.

-January 2nd vs. James Madison This is always one of the most anticipated games on Towson’s schedule, as the Dukes are one of their biggest rivals. The Tigers will be looking to exact some revenge after losing to James Madison in last year’s conference tournament

-February 10th vs. UNC Wilmington This is another important conference game for the Tigers. UNC Wilmington is one of the top teams in the conference, and they will be looking to solidify their position at the top of the standings with a win over Towson.

The road to the NCAA Tournament

The Towson Tigers men’s basketball team is gearing up for another season of exciting NCAA action. The Tigers will be looking to make a run at the NCAA tournament and they will have to earn their way through a tough regular season schedule. Here is a look at the schedule for the upcoming season

The Towson Tigers will open their season on the road against the University of Maryland on November 10th. This will be the first ever meeting between the two schools. The Tigers will then have a four game home stand, where they will take on Stetson, William & Mary, James Madison and Hofstra. The following week, Towson will travel to face George Mason and then return home to take on Delaware.

The Tigers will spend December playing mostly non-conference opponents. They will have home games against UMBC, Coppin State and Loyola (MD), and they will also travel to take on Navy, Howard, and American.

In January, conference play will begin and the Towson Tigers will look to make a run at the Colonial Athletic Association regular season title. They open conference play at home against Northeastern on January 2nd before heading out on the road for four straight games against Drexel, Charleston, William & Mary, and James Madison The following week they return home to take on Hofstra before traveling to Delaware.

The Towson Tigers have a very tough February schedule as they try to make a push towards the NCAA tournament They begin the month with three straight road games against George Mason Old Dominion, and Northeastern. Then they return home for four straight home games against Charleston, William & Mary, James Madison, and Hofstra. The final week of February sees them hit the road again for games against Delaware and Drexel.

March is when things really start to heat up as teams all around the country battle for position in the NCAA tournament The Towson Tigers will finish out their Regular Season schedule with three straight home games against UNC Wilmington, Elon, and College of Charleston Then they head out on the road for their final two regular season games against Drexel and Hofstra. If everything goes according to plan, the Towson Tigers could find themselves in March Madness this year!

The CAA conference tournament

The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Conference Tournament is finally here, and the matchups are looking good. First up, we have the number one seed, the University Of Delaware Blue Hens taking on the eighth-seeded James Madison Dukes The game will be played on Thursday, March 8th at 6:00 pm EST.

The second matchup of the day features the number four seed, Northeastern Huskies, going up against the fifth seed, Hofstra Pride That game will tip off at 8:30 pm EST on Thursday night

On Friday, March 9th, the first game will see the Drexel Dragons take on the Towson Tigers at 6:00 pm EST. In the second game of the day, it’ll be the UNC Wilmington Seahawks squaring off against the Charleston Cougars at 8:30 pm EST.

The semifinals will be held on Saturday, March 10th at 6:00 and 8:30 pm EST respectively. The Championship game is set for Sunday afternoon on March 11th at 1:00 pm EST.

All games will be played at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD and will be televised on NBC Sports Network (NBCSN).

The potential for a postseason berth. The Towson men’s Basketball team announced their 2017-18 schedule on Wednesday, which features 12 Home Games and a trip to the Virgin Islands. The Tigers will open the season on Nov. 10 against Lafayette in the Cancun Challenge before taking on Ole Miss two days later.
