LSUS Baseball: Overview
The LSUS Pilots baseball team is in Full Swing this season, and they’re looking better than ever. The team is currently ranked #1 in the nation, and they’re poised to make a run at the conference championship Here’s a quick overview of the team and the season so far.
The Pilots are led by senior ace pitcher Jaden banks, who has been dominant on the mound all season. Banks has an impressive ERA of 1.59, and he’s racked up 90 strikeouts in just 60 innings pitched He’s also been efficient, allowing just 27 hits all season. The Pilots offense has been clicking as well, averaging over 7 runs per game. They’re led by slugging first baseman Matt Lochner, who already has 9 home runs and 32 RBIs on the season.
The Pilots have had a great start to the season, but they know that there’s still a lot of work to do. They’ll be facing some tough competition in the second half of the season, but they feel confident that they can make a run at the Conference Championship

LSUS Baseball: Team
The LSUS Pilots Baseball Team is a collegiate summer baseball team based in Shreveport, Louisiana. The team is a member of the Louisiana Collegiate Summer League (LCSL). They play their home games at George Dobson Field on the campus of LSUS.
LSUS Baseball: Players
The LSUS Pilots baseball team is currently in the middle of their season and are off to a great start. The team is made up of 27 student-athletes, all of whom are working hard to help the Pilots win games. Let’s take a closer look at some of the players on the team.
Pitcher Dylan Richardson is one of the team’s Key Players He has a record of 4-1 so far this season, and his ERA is a impressive 2.48. Richardson is originally from Baton Rouge Louisiana, and he attended Catholic High School
Outfielder Brandon Williard is another important player for the Pilots. Williard is batting .333 so far this season, and he has hit two home runs Williard is from nearby Shreveport, Louisiana, and he attended Captain Shreve high school

LSUS Baseball: Fans
It’s that time of year again! Spring is in the air and that means it’s time for baseball. The LSUS Pilots are currently in the middle of their season and fans are flocking to Shreveport’sFair Grounds Field to watch the action.
If you’re not familiar with LSUS baseball, the team is part of the NCAA Division II and competes in the Southland Conference The Pilots have been to the NCAA Division II World Series six times, most recently in 2016.
Whether you’re a diehard fan or just looking for a fun afternoon out, attending a Pilots game is a great way to support LSUS and enjoy some America’s pastime.
LSUS Baseball: Media
The LSUS Pilots Baseball team is in full swing and the media is taking notice. The team has been featured in several local and national publications, including the Times-Picayune, Baseball America and ESPN.com.
The Pilots are off to a hot start this season, with a 13-3 record as of March 1st. They have already won two series against ranked opponents and are currently ranked #25 in the nation by Baseball America
LSUS Head Coach Blake Simoneaux is in his second season at the helm of the Pilots program. He has led the team to back-to-back 30+ win seasons and expects big things from his squad this year.
“Our goal is always to win a conference championship and make it to the NCAA tournament ” Simoneaux said. “We have a lot of talent on this team and we’re excited to see what we can do.”
The Pilots will continue their season on March 5th with a three-game series against Oral Roberts University
LSUS Baseball: Highlights
The LSUS Pilots baseball team is off to a hot start this season. The Pilots have a record of 7-1 and are currently ranked #16 in the nation. Here are some highlights from the first half of the season:
-In their first game of the season, the Pilots defeated #6 ranked Oklahoma State 3-2. This was a Big Win for LSUS and showed that they could compete with some of the best teams in the nation.
-The Pilots went on to win their next six games, including a four-game sweep of conference rivals Centenary College
-LSUS is currently leading the conference in batting average (.309), ERA (2.81), and home runs (12).
The Pilots have proved that they are a force to be reckoned with and we can’t wait to see what they do in the second half of the season! Go Pilots!
LSUS Baseball: Lowlights
The LSUS baseball team has had a rough season so far. Here are some of the lowlights:
-The team has a losing record
-They’ve been outscored by their opponents by a wide margin
-They’ve struggled to score runs
-Their defense has been suspect
But despite all of these struggles, the team is still in contention for a spot in the conference tournament So there’s still hope for the season.
LSUS Baseball: Future
The LSUS Pilots Baseball Team is off to a great start this season, and the future looks bright for the program. With a strong core of young players the Pilots are poised to make noise in the conference for years to come.
This season, the Pilots are led by junior infielder Cade Gibson, who is hitting a team-leading .385 with four Home Runs and 19 RBIs. On the mound, senior right-hander Taylor Scott has been dominant, posting a 5-1 record with a 2.17 ERA in eight starts. The Pilots also have a solid group of relievers, led by junior right-hander Max Ctain, who has four saves and a 1.59 ERA in 17 appearances.
With Gibson, Scott, and Ctain leading the way, the Pilots have high hopes for this season and beyond.
LSUS Baseball: Miscellaneous
The LSUS Pilots baseball team is currently in the midst of their 2018 season. The team, which is a Division II program that competes in the Southland Conference is off to a fast start this season. The Pilots have compiled a 9-4 record thus far and are currently riding a five-game Winning Streak
