The Coaches: Lyman Hall Basketball Season is Here!

The Lyman Hall coaching staff is excited to get the Basketball Season underway! This year’s team is looking to build on the success of last season, when the Trojans finished with a record of 19-5.

Leading the way for Lyman Hall this season are Head Coach Jason James and assistant coaches Kimani Carter and Chris Bruno. Coach James is in his fifth season at the helm of the Lyman Hall program, and he has compiled a record of 78-38 during his time at the school. Coach Carter is in his second season as an Assistant Coach at Lyman Hall, and Coach Bruno is in his first season with the team.

The Trojans will open their season on November 27th with a Home game against North Haven. Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM, and tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Make sure to come out and support your Lyman Hall Trojans!

It’s that time of year again! The Lyman Hall Basketball season is upon us, and this year’s team is looking to make a mark on the program’s history. Under the leadership of head coach Rodney Tucker, the team has their sights set on a conference championship and a deep run in the postseason.

This year’s team features a mix of experienced veterans and talented newcomers that are looking to make an impact. Leading the way for the team are seniors Isaiah Jordan and Marcus Williams. Jordan, a 6’4″ guard, is a versatile scorer that can shoot from long range or take his man off the dribble. Williams, a 6’7″ forward, is a beast on the glass and an intimidating presence on defense. They will be joined by junior guard Jahmir Hodge, who is one of the best pure shooters in the conference.

The team will also have some depth off the bench with players like junior forward Jaquan McKnight and sophomore guard Jamarius Burton. McKnight is an athletic forward that can finish around the basket and rebound at a high level. Burton is a dynamic playmaker that can get his teammates involved in the offense.
