Introduction
Margate Baseball is a youth baseball league in South Jersey that has been around since the early 1990s. The league is open to Boys and Girls ages 5-16 and offers three levels of play: T-Ball, minor league and Major League
players come from all over South Jersey to compete in Margate Baseball. The league is split up into two divisions, the American League and the National League Each division has four teams that play each other in a round-robin schedule leading up to the playoffs.
Margate Baseball prides itself on being a family-oriented league that stresses the importance of good sportsmanship above winning. The league also focuses on teaching players the fundamentals of baseball so they can develop as players.

The Margate Baseball League
The Margate Baseball League is a league of their own. This Professional Baseball League was established in 1998 and is currently made up of six teams. The teams are the Margate Mets, the Miami Marlins the Tampa Rays, the Orlando Magic the Charlotte Knights and the Fort Myers Miracle. Margate Baseball is not affiliated with any other professional baseball organization.
The Margate baseball league plays its games at Joe DiMaggio Stadium in Margate, Florida. The league is currently in its 21st season of play.
The teams
The Margate Baseball League is made up of four teams, each with their own unique history and flavor. The teams are the Margate Marlins, the Ocean City Beach Bums, the Dover Dodgers, and the Seaford Stingers.
The Marlins are the founding team of the Margate Baseball League and have been its most successful team since its inception. The team was founded by former Major League player turned coach Billy Butler, and has been coached by him ever since. The team’s home field is at Margate High School and they have won 7 championships in the 10 years that the league has been in existence.
The Beach Bums are a relatively new team to the league, having only joined in its fourth year. The team is made up mostly of players who live in or near Ocean City and their home games are played at Ocean City Municipal Stadium. Despite being one of the newer teams in the league, they have already won two championships.
The Dover Dodgers are another of the league’s original teams, and play their home games at Dover high school The team was founded by local business owner Larry Cohen, and has been coached by him since its inception. The Dodgers have won 5 championships in 10 years.
The Seaford Stingers are the fourth and final team in the Margate Baseball League They were founded by former Minor League player Marty Flynn, and play their home games at Seaford high school The Stingers have yet to win a championship in their 10 years of existence.

Since the first season in 2012, the Margate baseball league has seen a lot of incredible players come and go. Some have even gone on to play in Major League baseball! Here are just a few of the league’s most talented players.

The Margate Baseball League is a men’s Adult baseball league in South Jersey. The league plays its games on Sundays at 1:00 PM at the Margate Sports Complex The league is made up of four teams, each sponsored by a local business. The teams are the Margate Merchants, the Ventnor City Vets, the Northfield Cardinals, and the Absecon Islanders.

What makes Margate Baseball so special is the fans. They are passionate, knowledgeable, and loyal. They are also a big part of the community, volunteer their time to help keep the ballpark clean and support local businesses
