What is NBA Street?
NBA Street is a basketball video game that was first released in 2001. The game is known for its street-style gameplay and was one of the first games to feature NBA players in an urban environment. The original NBA Street was released on February 5th, 2002 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox consoles. The game featured a unique take on basketball, with 3-on-3 gameplay set in various street environments around the country. Players could create their own player or use one of 30 NBA legends, including Michael Jordan Magic Johnson and Larry Bird
NBA Street would go on to spawn a number of sequels over the next decade or so, including NBA Street Vol 2 (2003), NBA Street V3 (2005), NBA Street Homecourt (2007), and NBA Elite 11 (2010). The franchise would also see some crossovers with other EA SPORTS franchises like NFL Street and FIFA Street.
In 2012, EA SPORTS announced that they were reviving the NBA Street franchise with a new game simply titledNBAStreet. The game was released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 28th, 2012.

To use the Gamebreaker in NBA Street you must have the ball and be in possession of it for at least 10 seconds. When you have the ball for 10 seconds, a Gamebreaker icon will appear above your head. Once the icon appears, press the “Gamebreaker” button to initiate the Gamebreaker.
