Many of the nation’s top prospects have already verbally committed to their school of choice, but there are still a few undecided players that will be decision time this season. 1) Matthew Hurt – Hurt is a 6’9” forward from Minnesota that is widely considered one of the top 10 prospects in the country. He has offers from just about every major program in the nation, but is thought to be leaning towards Duke. Hurt will visits Duke this season for their game against UNC on February 8th.

2) Cole Anthony – The son of former NBA player Greg Anthony Cole is one of the most explosive scorers in the country. The 6’3” point guard from New York has narrowed his list of schools to UNC, Georgetown, and Notre Dame While many think he will eventually end up at UNC, Georgetown has made a late push and could be a dark horse in his recruitment.

3) Jeremiah Robinson-Earl – A 6’9” forward from Kansas, Robinson-Earl is one of the more versatile players in the country. He can play inside and out, which makes him a tough matchup for opposing defenses. He has offers from just about every major program, but schools like UNC, Villanova, and Kansas seem to be standing out early on.

4) Armando Bacot – A big man from Richmond, Virginia, Bacot is one of the more traditional post players in the country. At 6’10” and 240 pounds, he has good size and strength for someone his age. He has offers from schools like UNC, Duke, Georgetown, and Virginia Tech among others.

5) Devon Dotson – Dotson is a 6’2” point guard from Charlotte that many consider to be one of the quickest players in the country. He plays with a high level of energy and is always looking to push the tempo on offense. He currently has offers from schools like UNC, NC State, Clemson, South Carolina

Cole Anthony

One of the top recruits in the country, Cole Anthony is a 6-foot-3 point guard from New York City He attends Oak Hill Academy, the same High School that produced NBA Stars like Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony Cole is ranked as the No. 1 point guard in the Class of 2019 by ESPN, and he has offers from nearly every major college basketball program in the country. With his combination of size, speed and shooting ability, Cole is considered one of the most complete players in his class.

Armando Bacot

Armando Bacot a 6-10 center from Richmond, Va., is one of the top recruits in the country. He’s ranked No. 8 in the 247Sports Composite and No. 9 in the ESPN 100. Bacot has been on UNC’s radar for a while and took an official visit to Chapel Hill last season. He’s also considering Duke, Virginia and Georgetown.

Matthew Hurt

Matthew Hurt is a 6’9” forward from John Marshall high school in Rochester, MN. He is currently ranked as the No. 2 player in the country by ESPN and the No. 1 player by 247Sports. Hurt has offers from Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, and North Carolina among others. He recently took an unofficial visit to Duke and is scheduled to visit Kentucky this fall.

Wendell Moore

A 6’6” wing from Concord, NC, Wendell Moore is one of the top recruits in the country. He’s a consensus 5-star recruit and is ranked in the top 10 nationally by most major recruiting services. Moore is a versatile player who can score, rebound and play defense He’s also an excellent passer and has great Court Vision He should be a big part of the Tar Heels’ rotation this season.

Isaiah Todd

Isaiah Todd is a five-star recruit from Virginia who is currently ranked as the No. 2 player in the 2020 class by 247Sports. He stands 6-foot-10 and is considered a Power Forward but has the ability to play both inside and out. Todd is an excellent rebounder and shot blocker, but can also stretch the floor with his shooting. He has offers from nearly every major college basketball program, but has not yet narrowed his list down.

K.J. Smith, a 6’4” shooting guard from Charlotte, North Carolina is one of the top recruits in the class of 2018.
