NHSI Baseball: An Introduction
The NHSI Baseball Tournament is one of the most prestigious High School baseball tournaments in the country. Every year, the top high school teams from around the country converge on Southern California to compete in this highly competitive event.
The NHSI tournament is broken down into two divisions: The American Division and the National Division. The American Division is made up of teams from the state of California, while the National Division is made up of teams from outside of California.
The tournament began in 2006, and has been held every year since then. In its short history, the NHSI tournament has already seen some incredible moments and generated a lot of excitement among baseball fans

The History of NHSI Baseball
NHSI Baseball was founded in 2006 by five high school baseball coaches who saw a need for a national high school baseball tournament that would showcase the top high school baseball teams in the country.
The first NHSI Baseball Tournament was held in 2007 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles California. The tournament has been held at Major League stadiums across the country ever since, including Wrigley Field Fenway Park and Yankee Stadium
Over the years, NHSI Baseball has become the premier high school baseball tournament in the country, attracting top college and professional scouts from all over the world. Hundreds of NHSI baseball alumni have gone on to play professional baseball including Major League All-Stars such as Max Scherzer Chris Sale and Bryce Harper

In 2013, Hamilton High School (AZ) hit a dramatic come-from-behind walk-off homerun in the bottom of the seventh inning to upset top-seeded Mountain Ridge High School (AZ), 5-4.
In 2014, Norcross high school (GA) scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to stun Franklin high school (TN), 3-2.
In 2015, JSerra Catholic High School (CA) walked off on a bases-loaded hit by pitch to top Mater Dei high school (CA), 3-2.
In 2016, Archbishop McCarthy High School (FL) outlasted Venice High School (FL) in a 12-inning marathon, winning 6-5 on a walk-off single.
In 2017, De La Salle Collegiate High School (MI) walked off on a bases-loaded hit by pitch to shock Carrollton High School (TX), 2-1.

NHSI Baseball is a collaboration between perfect game and Baseball Factory two of the leading names in amateur baseball The tournament is invite-only and features some of the top High School teams in the country.
As a player, you are treated like a professional. You stay in dorms on a college campus and all your meals are provided for you. You play games at some of the top college baseball stadiums in the country, in front of hundreds – sometimes thousands – of fans. And you’re playing against some of the best competition imaginable.
It’s an incredible experience, one that I’m grateful to have had. And it’s one that I would recommend to any high school baseball player who has the chance to participate.
