But by her third season, the team had won 20 games and made it to the conference tournament Championship game The following year, the Huskies won their first conference tournament title in over 20 years and made it to the NCAA tournament for the first time in program history.

La-Force has continued to build on that success. In 2019-20, Northeastern won a school-record 26 games and made it back to the NCAA tournament The Huskies have become one of the top teams in the Colonial Athletic Association and are poised to make a run at a conference title and another NCAA appearance in 2020-21.
