Emmanuel’s story

On October 2, 2006, then 15-year old Emmanuel Yarborough lost his left arm in a freak accident A rising sophomore basketball player at the time, Emmanuel’s life changed forever that day.

With his dreams of playing Professional Basketball now dashed, Emmanuel faced a long and difficult road ahead. But with the support of his family and friends, he refused to give up.

In the years since his accident, Emmanuel has become an inspiration to us all. He has returned to the basketball court one arm and all, and even competed in the 2014 Armless Basketball World Championships

proving that anything is possible if you set your mind to it.

Despite his disability, Emmanuel is an excellent player. He averaged 20 points per game during his senior year of High School and he was even named MVP of his league.

Emmanuel is now attending college on a Basketball Scholarship and he hopes to one day play in the NBA.
