The Australian National Team is headed to the Basketball World Championships! The team has been working hard in the lead up to the tournament and is looking forward to representing Australia on the world stage.

The Australian national team is headed to the basketball World Championships in China this month, and they are preparing for the tournament with a practice match against the USA team The game will be held in Melbourne, and it will be the first time that the two teams have met since the 2016 Olympics.

The Australian team is coached by Andrej Lemanis, who has been with the team since 2013. He has led them to two Olympic appearances and a bronze medal at the 2014 FIBA World Cup The team captain is Patty Mills, who plays for the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA. Mills is joined by fellow NBA players Matthew Dellavedova Aron Baynes and Joe Ingles on the roster.

The USA team is coached by Gregg Popovich who also coaches the Spurs. The roster includes NBA All-Stars such as Kemba Walker Khris Middleton and Myles Turner.
