What is Oya Basketball?

Oya Basketball is a basketball training and development organization that was created to provide an opportunity for young athletes to learn and play the sport of basketball. We are committed to helping our players develop their skills and knowledge of the game, while also providing them with the opportunity to compete at a high level.

Oya Basketball was founded in 2013 by former professional basketball player Craig Hodges. Craig played in the NBA for 10 years and is best known for his time with the Chicago Bulls where he won two NBA championships Craig is also a two-time Olympian, having represented the United States in 1984 and 1992.

Since its inception, Oya Basketball has grown rapidly, adding new programs and events each year. In 2014, we launched our first AAU Program which provides young athletes with the opportunity to compete against some of the best players in the country. In 2015, we hosted our first ever Oya Basketball Invitational Tournament, which featured teams from all over the Midwest.

The weight room is state of the art, with free weights, dumbbells, and machines. The locker room has lockers for all of the players, and there are showers and a sauna.
