He is joined by fellow seniors Andrew D’Angelo and Matt Johnson, who are both three-year starters. The Team’s Success

The team’s success is due in large part to the outstanding coaching of Head Coach Brad Buske. Coach Buske has led the team to a Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) championship and a regional championship. He was also named the 2018 MVC Coach of the Year.
In addition to Coach Buske, the team features several talented players who have received individual accolades. Outfielder Mattison Maier was named first-team All-American by the NAIA and second-team All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA). pitcher Tanner King was named second-team All-American by both the NAIA and ABCA.

The Team’s History
Park University Gilbert is a baseball team located in Gilbert, Iowa. The team competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), and is a member of the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC). The team was founded in 2013, and made its debut in 2014. The team played its first game on February 15th, 2014, against North Central Missouri College. The game was played at North Central Missouri College’s diamond in Maryville, Missouri. Park University won the game 13-4.
