The PBA has 10 teams that will be playing a 60-game schedule in 2020. Opening Day is Thursday, July 9th. The regular season will end on Sunday, September 27th. The 2020 PBA playoffs will begin on Tuesday, September 29th and the PBA Championship Series will be played from Wednesday, October 7th to Sunday, October 11th.

PBA Baseball History

PBA baseball began in 1994 as an independent baseball league The league was made up of four teams, all located in the state of Pennsylvania. The teams played a short season, with each team playing a total of 40 games. In 1995, the league expanded to six teams, and increased the number of games played to 60. The league continued to expand in 1996, adding four more teams and increasing the number of Games Played to 84. In 1997, the league added eight more teams, for a total of 18 teams, and increased the number of games played to 96.
