The Piedmont community has always been very supportive of its baseball teams and the sport has been an important part of the town’s identity. Even today, Piedmont is still home to a minor League Baseball team, the Piedmont Pelicans.

We are currently exploring options for the future of the Piedmont Baseball Program and are committed to finding a solution that is financially sustainable and meets the needs of our community. We appreciate your support and patience as we work through this process.
Piedmont Baseball- player development
Piedmont Baseball is a community-based baseball program that has been providing opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills for over 50 years. The program is open to all players age 7-18, and offers instruction at all levels of play, from beginner to advanced. Piedmont Baseball is committed to developing the whole player, both on and off the field, and provides a supportive and positive environment in which players can learn and grow. The program also emphasizes the importance of giving back to the community, and many of its players and coaches volunteer their time to help with local youth programs.

The Piedmont baseball coaching staff is made up of volunteers from the community who have a passion for the game and a commitment to helping our young athletes develop their skills and love for the sport. Our coaches have a wide range of baseball experience from those who played collegiately or professionally, to those who have been coaching in Piedmont for many years. Regardless of their backgrounds, all of our coaches are committed to providing a positive and enriching experience for our players.

Since 1948, Piedmont Baseball has been a community tradition. For more than 70 years, our program has been committed to providing a positive and constructive outlet for our student athletes.
In addition to promoting teamwork and fair play, Piedmont Baseball also helps young people develop important life skills such as discipline, responsibility, and self-confidence. Our strength and Conditioning Program ensures that our athletes are physically prepared to meet the demands of the sport.
We are proud to say that our program has produced many successful players who have gone on to compete at the collegiate and professional levels. We are equally proud of the countless young men and women who have benefited from their involvement in Piedmont Baseball, regardless of their eventual career path.

Mental training is just as important as physical training when it comes to playing baseball Piedmont Baseball has a long tradition of developing players’ Mental Game so that they can perform at their best under pressure. Our mental training program is designed to help players overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
Some of the topics covered in our mental training program include:

-How to handle success
-How to manage stress and anxiety
-How to stay focused and motivated
-How to deal with adversity

Piedmont Baseball has been a community tradition for over 50 years. Every summer, thousands of young people come together to play baseball improve their skills, and have fun.
A recent study found that Piedmont Baseball participants have better nutrition than other young people in the area. The study found that Piedmont baseball players are more likely to eat fruits and vegetables, drink milk, and eat less sugary drinks than other young people in the area.
Piedmont Baseball is a great way for young people to get exercise and eat healthy.

The Piedmont Baseball summer camp is a great way for kids to learn the game and have some fun. The camp runs for two weeks and includes instruction from experienced coaches, games, and a chance to meet some of the players.
