The 2020 Infield

The 2020 Penn State baseball Infield features a group of young and talented players that are looking to make an impact this season. The infield will be led by senior captains Alex Malinski (1B) and Mason Nadeau (3B). Both players are experienced leaders that have been key contributors to the team over the past few seasons.

The infield will also feature a number of newcomers that are expected to make an immediate impact. Freshmen Mikey Ramirez (2B) andWill Connell (SS) are two of the top incoming freshmen in the country and they will be looking to make an immediate impact on the team.

The 2020 Penn State baseball Infield is a group of talented players that are looking to make a big impact this season. Led by experienced seniors and featuring a number of talented newcomers, this group is poised to have a big year.

The 2020 Outfield

The starting outfield for the 2020 baseball season will be a great mix of experience and newcomers. The outfield will be led by Senior Dylan Rodenbaugh Dyleski, who is returning for his 4th season as a starter in left field In center field, Junior transfer student Ryan Lockett will look to make an immediate impact as he takes over for the departed All-American Jaylen Anderson. Rounding out the group in right field is Freshman phenom Kyle Novak, who is expected to be a key piece of the puzzle for the Nittany Lions moving forward.

-has appeared in seven games, all in relief, and has a 1.93 ERA

The 2020 Coaches

The 2020 Coaching Staff for the Penn State Nittany Lions baseball team will be led by Head Coach Rob Cooper and assistant coaches Steve Snyder and Joe Shankweiler.
Cooper enters his 12th season as head coach of the Nittany Lions and his 23rd season as a collegiate Head Coach Snyder is entering his 10th season as the associate Head coach and his 18th season at Penn State Shankweiler rounds out the coaching staff entering his seventh season with the program and 12th as a collegiate coach.

The 2020 Schedule

Penn State will host 25 games at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park and make 14 road/neutral site appearances in 2020. The Nittany Lions will face seven squads that participated in the 2019 NCAA tournament highlighted by a three-game home series with Omaha (March 13-15), which advanced to the College World Series semifinals a year ago.
