There are three different baseball teams that play at Rend Lake: varsity, Junior varsity and freshmen. The varsity team is the most competitive team and the one that represents Rend Lake in conference play The junior varsity team is made up of players who are not quite ready for varsity competition yet but still want to compete at a high level. The freshmen team is made up of players who are just starting their baseball careers at Rend Lake.

The history of baseball at Rend Lake

baseball has been played at Rend Lake College since the college was founded in 1967. The team has been through some changes over the years, but baseball has always been an important part of life at Rend Lake.

The first Rend Lake baseball team was made up of students who were also members of the Rend Lake Rifles, a college-sponsored shooting team. The team played its first game in 1968 against an area High School team.

In the early years, the team did not have a regular home field and would often play its games at local high schools or parks. In 1970, a permanent home field was built on campus and the team began to play its games there.

Over the years, the team has gone through some changes in conference affiliation and in Coaching Staff but baseball has always been an important part of life at Rend Lake College. Catch a game this season and see for yourself!

The different baseball stadiums at Rend Lake

Rend Lake College offers a variety of different opportunities to play ball There are four main baseball stadiums at Rend Lake: Regents Park, The Diamond, The Yard, and Friendship Field.

Regents Park is the home to the Wranglers, the RLCAA Baseball Team The park has a capacity of 1,500 people and has a press box, bleachers, dugouts, and a concessions stand. The park also has a RV hookup and a playground.
The Diamond is home to the Warriors, the Rend Lake college baseball team. The stadium has a seating capacity of 500 and also has a press box, bleachers, dugouts, concessions stand, as well as an announcer’s stand.
The Yard is used by the RLC Developmental League teams and has a seating capacity of 250 people. The Yard also has an RV hookup and playground available.
Friendship Field is used by local high school teams in the area and can seat up to 1,000 people in the grandstands.

Regular season: The regular season consists of conference games and non-conference games. Conference games are against teams in our league, while non-conference games are against teams outside of our league. We usually play between 30 and 40 Regular Season games.

Postseason: The postseason consists of conference tournaments and the National Tournament Conference tournaments decide who goes to the National Tournament The national tournament is a single-elimination tournament that takes place in May.

Rend Lake College Community College offers an affordable and fun way to spend a summer day or evening. There are several different baseball leagues that play at the college, and each offers a unique experience.

The first league is the Rend Lake baseball league which is made up of teams from around the area. This league plays its games on Monday nights, and it is a great way to catch a game without having to travel too far.

The second league is the Frontier League which is made up of teams from all over the country. This league plays its games on Wednesday nights, and it is a great way to catch a game while you are on vacation.

The third league is the Valley League, which is made up of teams from all over the country. This league plays its games on Friday nights, and it is a great way to catch a game while you are on vacation.

baseball season is here, and that means its time to catch a Rend Lake Baseball game! This year, the team is offering several different baseball clinics for fans of all ages.

For the younger fans, there will be a clinic on April 6th that will teach the basics of the game. This clinic is perfect for those who have never been to a baseball game before and want to learn more about the sport.

For the older fans, there will be a clinic on April 13th that will focus on advance strategies and techniques. This clinic is perfect for those who have been to a few baseball games and want to learn more about the sport.

Both clinics will take place at Rend Lake ballpark and will be taught by Rend Lake Head Coach Steve Smith Tickets for both clinics are only $5 per person, and all proceeds will go towards supporting the team. So make sure to catch a Rend Lake Baseball Game this season!

The different baseball camps that take place at Rend Lake

Here at Rend Lake, we are proud to offer a wide variety of baseball camps for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a rookie looking to learn the basics or a seasoned pro seeking to hone your skills, we have a camp for you.

Our most popular camp is our “Rookie Camp” which is designed for players aged 7-12 who are new to the Game of Baseball This camp runs for four weeks and focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the game in a fun and safe environment.

We also offer a “Prospect Camp” for players aged 13-18 who are looking to take their game to the next level. This camp runs for six weeks and focuses on advanced techniques and strategies.

For our adult players, we offer a “Adult League” which runs for eight weeks and is open to players aged 19+. This league is perfect for those who want to stay active and enjoy some friendly competition.
